The Happy Turtle

The Happy Turtle is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely perfect for the two of us…(the second bed and bath on the opposite side of the house would be great for another couple or a friend.) The refurbishment they did last December is about as close to flawless as I could imagine. Very tasteful, comfortable. Kudos to whoever was in charge of all of that. We cooked many meals in the well equipped kitchen. The fans and A/C allowed for ideal temperature control. Although we spent the majority of our time in the huge screened in deck/porch. Completely bug free….with a steady breeze, the rustle of the palms and the view of the sea. Most of all we loved the quiet location. Outside of town with easy access to Oil Slick Leap, Tolo, 1,000 Steps and Karpata. Everyone at Sunrise Bonaire was fantastic to work with. Communication and arrangements were easy breezy. We only look forward to coming back. Read more

Will stay again next time we visit the island.

We stayed at A701 Port Bonaire and will look at it again next time. Booking, check-in/out process was easy through Sunwise Bonaire. Comfortable bed (which is rare), patio, and living room furniture. The grounds and pool are well kept and enjoyable. Gated access to easy parking even with a pick-up truck. Short walk to Kite City and Stoked food trucks at Te Amo beach. Right next to Dive Friends shop which made swapping tanks and cleaning gear really easy. With no AC in the living room having the patio doors open was a must. Also left the side windows open the whole time (opening is secure) to keep it cooler. Its first floor so make sure to bring the bug spray. Plenty of mosquitoes this trip, but not a problem if using spray. The induction skillets were the expected/usual cheap and worn, so bring your own if you intend to use the range. The laundry room is vented, and worked great for storing our dive gear which was 95% dry the next morning. Loading/unloading to the truck was easy. We had a concern about airplane noise given the proximity, but it wasn’t a problem. Its only loud during a take-off which wasn’t often, lasted about 30 seconds, and early enough to not be an issue sleeping. Would recommend staying here, especially if you’re diving. Read more

Perfect for our family trip!

We were a family group of 12 visiting the island to snorkel, SCUBA, and enjoy the nature activities of Bonaire. The villa allowed us to share beautiful outdoor spaces, cook large family meals and enjoy them at the spacious outdoor table, and also spread out as we needed. There were large rinse sinks and storage lockers for our snorkel/scuba gear. The parking was ample for our 3 trucks and 1 scooter. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and had 2 full-size refrigerators. It also had the basic spices and herbs for our use! And anytime we had questions, the villa host responded within minutes via WhatsApp. They were friendly and helpful before and during our trip. Overall, we loved it. Wonderful stay!

What a fantastic location on this beautiful island. What makes Pixel Paradise Oceanfront so special is its direct position on the sea, with amazing snorkeling right in front of the house, and the chance to enjoy both sunrise and sunset from the veranda! In addition, the beach house is in excellent condition and renovated in true Bonaire Beach style! Read more

Fantastic stay!

Turtles Place is a beautiful apartment close to the airport. All amenities are provided, including a wonderful Nespresso machine with milk frother. Lovely large terrace! An unforgettable stay in Bonaire Beach Apartment 16

Our holiday on Bonaire was fantastic, thanks in large part to the service and support from the Sunwise team! Everything was perfectly arranged, and whenever we had questions, we received quick and helpful responses by both email and app. When we return to Bonaire, we will definitely book our accommodation through Sunwise again.

Great place to on Bonaire

Wife and I had a great stay in condo A102 and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place on Bonaire. Location is fantastic right across from the airport and right at one of our favorite snorkeling spots. Condo has everything you need, is on the ground floor, great view and A/C in both bedrooms. Stay in Kas Mango

We had an excellent stay at Kas Mango in Bonaire. As a group of eight men, we found the location perfect—quiet, convenient, and close to everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, giving us plenty of space to relax. Everything was well organized and exceeded our expectations. Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Heros Sabadeco. The check-in was very pleasant, and there were some drinks in the fridge as a welcome. A beautifully large house, fully equipped with everything you need. Exactly as shown in the photos on the website. We especially loved the shutters in every room — you could close them, and they all had screens. The large sliding doors by the terrace also had screens. There was air conditioning and fans everywhere, which is a must on Bonaire. We slept wonderfully. During our stay, the house was cleaned again, and the bed linen and towels were replaced. The pool was also cleaned and topped up. We were informed about everything neatly and in advance. The house is located slightly higher up, giving you a beautiful view of the sea — watching the sunset from the upper terrace was amazing! The garden is beautifully landscaped with swaying palm trees and lush plants. Birds singing, and above all: peace and quiet! The car can be parked on the private gated property. Conclusion: Don’t look any further if you’re searching for a beautiful house that has all the comforts you need. Less than a 10-minute drive to famous dive spots like 1000 Steps, 15 minutes from Kralendijk, stunning views, and a completely relaxing atmosphere! This is the place to be! Read more

Belnem Breeze

We came to Bonaire for a fishing trip, and the apartment we rented — with two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms — was well equipped with all necessary facilities. Everything was perfectly clean, and there was a welcome drink waiting for us in the fridge. We were welcomed very kindly on arrival, and an extra key for the garden door was arranged quickly. A small downside: there was no connected TV cable. Everything had to be watched via apps or streaming, which meant we had to upgrade our providers to follow a bit of football or sports. A bit unfortunate, but we still had a great week. Sunwise is highly recommended. Read more

Beautiful apartment in a central location

During my diving holiday on Bonaire, I stayed in this apartment on the third and top floor. The apartment is fully equipped. From the apartment, you have a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and Kralendijk. Just cross the street and you can take a dip in the sea at Chachacha. Snorkeling (and diving) is also possible right outside the door. The apartment is located on the edge of Kralendijk's town center, with its charming shops and restaurants. All at walking distance. Cruise ships regularly dock right outside. It's a lively area, so it's less suitable for those who come to Bonaire for peace and quiet. Read more

Very Nice Stay

The villa is very comfortable, it was 4 of us and everyone felt like home, separated bedrooms with own bathrooms on the upper floor gave us good privacy. Big day/living room with a open kitchen was well equipped- we had everything we needed plus a cool backyard with barbecue ,large table and jacuzzi was perfect for an evening chill ( although the tub could be in better shape).As for divers the extra locker room and rinsing tub for dive gear was just perfect. We could also park our pickup car just in front of the house which was very convenient with all the gear. Will definitely come back next time! Read more

Kas Mango – Great Location and Pleasant Host

Bonaire was an amazing Island and Kas Mango was a well-kept house in a great location. The host was quick to respond to our concerns but left as much distance as I could have asked for while on vacation. I am still processing some confusion between the host and myself regarding booking all the rooms, but even with that confusion, we were given the space to figure out the issue after our vacation ended.
