Lovely property on a stunning location!

What a find. Lovely property, very well equipped, wide terraces with great sea views. Stunning location on the seafront with the calmest seas on the island and a sandy bottom - perfect for swimming. Surprisingly good snorkelling in the nooks and crannies along the shore and small coral heads. The seafront is a busy bustling place so is noisy at times but nothing that bothered us even sleeping under a fan with open (screened) windows. Read more

Super spacious, extremely well equipped

Super spacious house in a quiet neighborhood with fantastic outdoor spaces where we enjoyed sitting.
Extremely well equipped kitchen which is fully equipped.
Bedrooms have great beds also very spacious.
Swimming pool lovely and communication good.
Only disadvantage of the house is that there is no separate toilet so you always have to go to the (open) toilet in 1 of the bedrooms.
But all in all highly recommended. Read more

Blissful Stay at Blue Breeze Apartment: A Hidden Gem in Bonaire

Our recent stay at the Blue Breeze Apartment was nothing short of spectacular. This gem surpassed all expectations and provided an unforgettable vacation experience. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the apartment's immaculate condition and charming decor. The two spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with very comfortable beds, offered ample space and storage, allowing us to settle in comfortably. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a full stove, microwave, coffee maker and freezer/fridge, exceeded our culinary needs and made meal preparation a breeze. The true highlight of our stay was the private porch and the stunning, well-maintained pool. Whether basking in the warm Caribbean sun or taking a refreshing dip, we spent countless hours unwinding by the poolside, indulging in moments of pure relaxation and tranquillity. The convenient location of the Blue Breeze Apartment proved to be a major advantage. Situated just minutes away from the airport, beach, and downtown area, we were able to explore all that Bonaire has to offer with ease. Overall, my experience at the Blue Breeze Apartment was nothing short of perfection. From the impeccable amenities to the attentive service, every aspect of our stay was meticulously curated to ensure maximum comfort and satisfaction. Beautiful View

Nice spacious apartment with a beautiful view of the lagoon from the balcony, and well-equipped kitchen. It’s the entire 2nd floor of the triplex so the breeze flows wonderfully through the apt. The screens need some repair to keep out the mosquitoes, but hopefully that will be fixed soon. Read more

Second time at Villa Nex-ta-Sea

This was our second time at Villa Nex-ta-Sea and it was amazing again. Can’t beat the view and being right on the water. Lots of fish, coral, and turtles right in front of the house. Half of our family was at another nearby villa and they preferred Nex-ta-Sea between the two. Can’t wait to come back! Read more

Wonderful apartment in a fantastic place

Den Laman Condominium FLOUNDER is a wonderful apartment in a fantastic place. For divers but also for snorkelers like us. From the apartment you walk straight into the sea (or you go from the pier) to snorkel (or dive). To both sides it is beautiful snorkeling. A great diversity of fish.
From the balcony you have side sea view. You can sit there in the shade until the evening sun comes. The dive center is across the street. That gives a nice bustle. You can hear the diving center during the day (a kind of compressor it seems to me). We did not find that annoying.
At the bottom of the complex is a restaurant, with a lovely terrace on the water, where you can eat. The restaurant is not open every day.
The apartment is within walking distance of the pier to Klein Bonaire.
Cecile and Simon, the managers, are friendly and very helpful.
We further explored the island with a scooter. You have to be careful because the roads are full of holes.
For us a place to definitely go back to.

Great vacation home

Great vacation home with an amazing view perfectly located away from the noise of the city.

The view from deck is amazing both morning and evening. The house was very secure and we felt safe. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the pool provided extra comfort.

The house had a couple of plumbing issues. One bedroom shower had a really slow drain. The biggest issue was the rinse tanks for scuba gear not draining. This made it difficult to care for our gear. Read more

Nice location, located on the south side of town. Nice parking, nice pool, close to the dive shops and south shore dive sites. Easy drive to town and grocery stores. Read more

Truly Nirvana!

Everything about our stay was perfect! The house size and layout worked perfectly for our family of 10 with plenty of space to gather together but also separate areas for some quiet time. The diving off the back was easy with a beautiful reef. The managers were attentive with any questions we had or needs (although the house was perfect so we didn't need anything). Fantastic, complete house with central location

We had a great week in this lovely house. The three bedrooms are spacious and all have comfortable bathrooms. The living room and kitchen are also fully equipped. Nice for example that there is a Nespresso machine and that the fridge has an ice machine. The whole house is very tastefully decorated with high-quality materials. The terrace with swimming pool is lovely, with plenty of opportunities to sit or lie down. The location is also perfect, quiet, but also very central for Kralendijk and wind and kite surfing. We are also satisfied with Sunwise's service. For example, we had a wifi error and it was quickly fixed. We highly recommend this villa! Read more

The bugs were terrible

The pool was excellent so one star. The bugs were terrible. Despite large signs on Bonaire for the prevention of Zika, Dengue and Chikungunya this house has no screens. The kitchen and living area is open and the bedrooms/bathrooms have louvres which let in biting flies, house flys, spiders, mosquitos (and frogs). The house manager found a bed net in the owner’s closet but their was no proper frame or hook. The house had citronella candles, mosquito coils, a bug racquet, a twirling mill against against bugs but nothing worked. There were nets to put over your food but it is hard to prepare and eat food when it is under a net. There is no where on the property where we did not get bitten or bothered by flies.
The bugs stayed even though there was a strong wind through the open living area. The wind made it hard to hear the tv and everything was always blowing away. When it rained and the three garage doors were closed we were in a windowless, airless room.
There was no BBQ or Microwave. When we asked the house managers they did bring a toaster and three other missing items but no real sheets for the beds. The beds had only IKEA BERGPALM duvets and shams as sheets and pillow cases. They were heavy (double thickness) and scratchy. Not ideal for tropical nights.
The motorcycle and truck noise from nearby Kaya Kaminda Gurubu woke us up at night. The next door neighbours had two dogs that barked for long periods of time.
We were just two people but there was no hot water in the morning as there was no holding tank for the hot water.
We could not invite any one to visit because of the poor living conditions.

Hosts were excellent

Five of us had a very good time at this very spacious villa with multiple terraces providing different views including awesome views of Caribbean Sea and Klein Bonaire. Hosts were excellent throughout the process from pre-arrival contact, meeting us at the property, very responsive to our inquiries and small service requests.

The location is away from the city (about 15 min max) in a neighborhood with similar villas and a short walk from excellent diving and snorkeling locations. The neigbourhood is very quiet with possible exception of occasional traffic on the road abating to the back of the property.

You are waking up hearing birds abundant in the area - parakeets, bananaquits and parrots.

A very well maintained pool helped us to cool off on the days we did not feel like leaving the property.

Overall, we had a great time at this very nice property and will definitely consider it for any larger group up to 8 people. Read more

We had a good stay in Windsock 3

We had a good stay in Windsock 3. The appt was not cleaned during our stay, but we noticed that the one next to us was. We were wondering why that appt was cleaned and ours wasn't because it was rented the same period. Wifi in the bedroom was not available, but Simon gave us a code to another wifi network. That will be helpful the next time. It would also be great if somewhere there could be a (central) point where we can rinse divegear that would be a bit deeper than the place next to the parking lot. These are the points that we were less satisfied about or that can be improved. For the rest we like the spacious appt very much because we need room for all our gear.
