Villa Laguna is a spacious water villa located in the Water Villas Bonaire complex directly on the Laguna Marina in Kralendijk. This 150 m² villa offers beautiful views over the lagoon where sailboats and motorboats bob at their moorings. Van den Tweel supermarket is located 2.1 kilometers away, while Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are within 900 meters. For dive enthusiasts, Dive Friends Port Bonaire is just 750 meters away and restaurant Cuba Compagnie is 2.4 kilometers away. The private pool is a regular pool that provides cooling and relaxation in your own garden.
Layout of the villa
Villa Laguna features three spacious air-conditioned bedrooms and three bathrooms, ensuring each guest has sufficient privacy. The open kitchen directly adjoins the living room and is equipped with built-in appliances including dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. The villa has a private garden with covered veranda, balcony, terrace and pool deck around the private pool. Due to the layout across multiple levels, there is a staircase present in the home.

About 15 minutes' drive from Villa Laguna lies the fascinating snorkel and dive spot 1000 Steps. The funny thing is that it's not actually a thousand steps at all – more like 67 steps that take you down to this idyllic little beach. The location is particularly popular with snorkelers and divers because of the beautiful coral reef that's directly accessible from shore. The crystal-clear water and rich underwater world make this one of the most appreciated spots on Bonaire's west coast. Perfect for a morning dive before returning to your private pool at the villa.

- No supermarket in the direct vicinity – Van den Tweel is 2.1 kilometers away, ideal for doing all your shopping in one trip
- No dryer – Laundry dries within hours outdoors thanks to the Caribbean sun and wind
- Stairs – Due to the layout across multiple levels there is a staircase present, less suitable for guests with mobility issues

The neighborhood
Kralendijk center with the boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats at their moorings and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and love strolling along the boulevard in the evenings. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base thanks to quick access to the west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience and the shortest travel times to the facilities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Villa Laguna in Kralendijk. With your own car, all remote corners are accessible at your own pace, from secluded snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone to rent a car, as it allows you to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There is no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked, for example.

Lovely house, fully equipped. Even canoes and SUP boards available. The pool is not very large, but perfect for cooling off while sunbathing. The beds are comfortable. At first I thought the mattress might be a bit too soft, but I had a good night’s sleep. The airport is next to the house and you would expect to be bothered by it, but the opposite was true. Our stay
Villa Laguna is a nice house to stay in, the parking lot is a bit on the tight side with 2 pick up trucks. The chairs at the long table on the porch are definitely not comfortable nor sturdy. Unfortunately the mattresses on the beds upstairs were not firm, after 10 days got back problems. These are definitely in need of replacement considering the pit in the mattress. Bonaire Stay
We booked our stay through Sunwise and we are very satisfied with it! Easy contact through the app, in case of questions they respond immediately! Very pleasant! The water villa was lovely, a nice house, pool to ourselves and we could supp and kayak! Had a wonderful stay. Only downside (but that is person dependent) for us were the soft mattresses. But that did not negatively affect our stay! Top vacation.

Very cozy and complete villa with a good and friendly reception from Sunwise
Very nice price/quality villa with a lot of extras! The house is still like new and very cozy. Extra luxury is the air conditioning in the living room, free use of canoes and sup boards, beach chairs and cooler available and a weber bbq. We enjoyed using this which added extra pleasure to our vacation. We had booked 2 houses with Sunwise each for a week and what was very nice is that Sunwise offered us the possibility to switch to the next house right away so we didn't have to drive around with our suitcases and stuff. Sunwise Bonaire was fantastic
We absolutely loved our charming house on the waterfront. The pool was surprisingly deep and we spent many hours enjoying it. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was a bonus to have air-conditioning in the main room on occasion. We had a lot of fun going out on the stand-up paddle boards and see kayaks available on the dock. We paddled out to the ocean and went to the nearby beach. Sunwise Bonaire was fantastic. Super responsive and got us set up with everything we needed. Thank you! Comfortable with space for everyone
Very nice host. We were very happy to accept the pick up and drop off from the #47 to the airport and it worked wonderfully. It was also very good that some spices and coffee were there for the first breakfast. Loved the thanks for that. If the possibility arises, we will gladly come back. Villa with a pool
Fully equipped villa with plenty of space and pool for swimming, very clean and bright Close to the airport and Te Amo beach. As there are only a few flights a day, it is not disturbing, only the road traffic behind the wall can be heard. You can get everywhere from there by car. We would come again. As a guest of Villa Laguna, you have access to the complete villa, including all three bedrooms, three bathrooms, the open kitchen, living room and all outdoor spaces such as the private garden, covered veranda, balcony, terrace and pool deck around your private pool. You can enjoy the spectacular views over the Laguna Marina and use the free parking on your own grounds. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanations about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals personally! The Sunwise hosts of the accommodation will make arrangements with you regarding your arrival.

Other things to note
Check-in is from 3PM and check-out by 10AM. Early or late check-in or check-out is possible upon request, depending on other guests. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations.
