Caribbean Court Apartment Djodjo is a spacious 130 m² apartment located in the Caribbean Court complex at Laguna Marina. This charming apartment is situated on the second floor and offers spectacular views over the lagoon. The accommodation is just 450 meters from Sebastian’s Restaurant, 1.9 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket, 3.3 kilometers from Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach, and 1.8 kilometers from dive center Dive Friends Port Bonaire. Guests have access to the shared swimming pool with a regular pool that’s perfect for cooling off after a day full of adventures.

About 30 minutes' drive away lies Gotomeer, Bonaire's largest saltwater lagoon in Washington Slagbaai National Park. - No BBQ – There's no barbecue facility at the accommodation, but public BBQ spots like Donkey Beach or Seru Largu are perfect for a fun grilling evening
- No screens – Some windows don't have screens, so bring insect repellent just to be safe

Where you'll stay
The neighborhood
The artificial lagoon between Kralendijk and the airport, connected to the Caribbean Sea via channels. Around the lagoon are villas, small-scale resorts and hotels (including Ocean Breeze, Plaza Beach Resort and Water Villas Bonaire), often with private docks. The water is sheltered and calm – perfect for kayaking, stand-up paddling and relaxed waterfront living – with direct boat connection to the open sea and dive spots along the west coast.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Caribbean Court Apartment Djodjo in Laguna Marina. With your own car, all corners of the island are reachable at your own pace, from remote snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone rent a car, as it enables you to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for natural areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There's no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked for example.

Not entirely satisfied with the house. Unfortunately, the house had several issues. The shower did not function properly. Water leaked from the bathroom into other parts of the house. The sanitary facilities were very outdated and did not look fresh. I also noticed traces of blood from killed insects, which had not been cleaned. There were no blackout curtains in the bedrooms. In the bathroom there was no curtain so there was no privacy while showering. We were allowed a late check-out, which I did appreciate. That’s why I still give it 2 stars. All in all definitely recommended!
Together with two colleagues we stayed here for over a week and a half. Lovely our own bedroom and bathroom and the living room was our meeting room, preparation room and relaxation area. That often doesn't work when you stay in a hotel. So this was very nice. Wonderful location where you are right in Kralendijk and also towards the beach. Everything was thought of, beach towel available and a bottle of wine in the fridge and chilled water. The communication was smooth.

Highly recommended, very pleasant host!
We had a great 10 days here. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a big kitchen that can host 3 couples or family of 6 easily.
Kitchen has pretty much that we looked for as we cooked every dinners home. A few big grocery stores are only 5 min drive away.
This place also has a washer and dryer which is super convenient for us.
Our kids used the community pool and they enjoyed it.
This place is perfect as base for us as we would go both up North (Karpata - 26min) and South (Lac Bay or Pink beach - 25min).
Highly recommended!

It was perfect
This was our second stay with Sunwise in Caribbean Court and we were not disappointed. It was perfect for our 2 week stay with 5 people. The kitchen is well equipped and it was easy to make most of our meals. Luke from Sunwise was quick to respond and was helpful. We used DivOcean at the other end of the building for tanks and some minor equipment and they were great to deal with and offer a discount to guests staying at Caribbean Court.
The condo layout was what we expected. Beds were comfortable, ceiling fan in bedrooms and air conditioning was strong and reliable. There is a medium sized cooler to use which is nice for packing some cold drinks or lunch for the day.
Balcony is smaller than some other units in the area, and there's a bit too much deck furniture for that space.
Beds are all Queen size, not King as listed.
No Nespresso machine as listed, but there is a small drip coffee maker.

Beautiful place with great host
Beautiful place with great host. Replied quickly and easily. Place was beautiful and quite and close to everything. was able to walk to dinner and to dive shop. 3 large bedrooms with 3 bathrooms are a plus with 2 teenagers. Nice place, great location!!
Nice place, great location!! All hosts were super nice and helpful! Only issue was that the listing is inaccurate. It specifically states that there is a/c in the living room but it’s only in the bedrooms (which is one of the reasons I chose this one) and listing oddly states that there is a nespresso coffee maker so we bought pods and turns out there was only a drip machine. We had a great stay and would choose this unit again
We had a wonderful stay here and appreciated the view of the bay and 3 bedroom setup. One bedroom does not have connected bathroom but it was right outside the door in the hallway. Walkable to restaurants and close to the airport. It was a great location to get anywhere we wanted by truck. Mosquitoes can be bad during the rainy season so make sure to pack bug spray! Would have been nice to have a screen between the house and the balcony space so we could leave open for a breeze as there is only AC in the bedrooms, fyi.
