Villa Bonheur is a detached villa in the Oud Lagoen area, offering 180 m² of living space and views over the “mondi”, the local term for untouched natural landscape. Top Supermarket is 2.9 kilometers away, Isidel Beach Park 4 kilometers, restaurant It Rains Fishes 3.2 kilometers and dive center Dive Friends Hamlet 5 kilometers. - Distance to Kralendijk – The villa is located a bit further from downtown, which means a peaceful stay. With a rental car you can still reach shops, restaurants and the boulevard in a short drive.
- No dryer – There is no tumble dryer, but thanks to the sun and breeze your laundry usually dries on the line within a few hours.
- No A/C in the living room – Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms, so you can sleep comfortably cool. During the day you can open the doors in the living area and use the fans for natural ventilation.

Getting around
Villa Bonheur in Oud Lagoen is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings. With your own car you can explore every corner of the island at your own pace, from remote snorkeling spots to local eateries. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and can be rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Beautiful villa with nice air flow

Guest access
As a guest of Villa Bonheur you have access to the entire property, including all three bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the living room with open kitchen and the outdoor areas such as the private garden, covered porch and balcony. The private pool and parking spaces on the premises and on the street are also fully at your disposal. To warmly welcome our guests and provide information about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we arrange all arrivals in person! The Sunwise hosts of the property will coordinate your arrival with you.
Interaction with guests
The Sunwise team will do everything possible to make your stay at Villa Bonheur as pleasant as can be. During your vacation we are available for questions, tips or assistance. You can best reach us via email or WhatsApp of the Sunwise guest team for Villa Bonheur, or through the messaging platform you used to make your booking. We usually respond quickly during daytime, so you can enjoy Bonaire without worries.
Other things to note
