Villa Valena 5 is an atmospheric villa of 60 m² located in the heart of Kralendijk. This accommodation is situated on the ground floor of Villa Valena and offers garden views over the shared tropical garden. With a location just 500 meters from Chachacha Beach, 550 meters from restaurant At Sea, 1.1 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket and 2.3 kilometers from Dive Friends Yellow Submarine dive center, you’re always close to all amenities. The villa features a refreshing shared pool where you can relax wonderfully.

Villa Valena 5 has a practical single-level layout with one bedroom and one bathroom. The open kitchen directly adjoins the cozy living room, creating a spacious whole. The neighborhood
Kralendijk center with the boulevard, piers, sail and motorboats at the mooring buoys and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and enjoy evening strolls along the boulevard. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is an excellent base due to quick access to the west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience and the shortest travel times to amenities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Villa Valena 5 in Kralendijk. With your own car, all corners of the island are reachable at your own pace, from remote snorkeling spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone to rent a car, as you'll then be able to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There is no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked for example.

Once again we had a wonderful stay in apartment 5. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the center, with a small beach just a 2-minute walk away. Everything we needed was available. The pool is lovely and there is a washing machine. Contact with Simon and Cecile was very pleasant, problems are solved immediately. Beautiful studio/apartment
The description of the studio matched the reality and very neat. Beautiful studio/apartment. Everything provided as described. The building is in a residential area, so there is not really much to see, but it is quiet.
And also quite close to Kralendijk itself and the stores. Although you still better provide motorized transportation if you want to go somewhere and lug a few things. You could do it by bike, but that still seems a bit dangerous to us. But a person adapts to circumstances.
But we certainly enjoyed staying in the studio and of course Bonaire itself.
Definitely try Sebastians, is only 400 meters from the studio and try to get a spot on the pier there.
But there are plenty of other recommendations ...

Wonderful hosts

Thank you for a lovely stay on Bonaire
Host arranged for our collection from the airport which made it easy to find and access the apartment when we arrived in late evening. Nice modern well kept one bedroom with very comfortable king size bed. Nice quality bedding and towels. Large fridge freezer. Nespresso capsule coffee machine … capsules available in the supermarkets.
Although only two induction rings in the kitchen managed to cook good meals as lots of equipment provided.
Nice to have a sandwich box we could take sandwiches to the beach.
Great quiet location only 15 min walk from town and a small beach great for snorkelling.
Any queries or problems quickly responded to. Nice clean pool shared between the apartments with good quality loungers we made use of most days for an afternoon nap.

A memorable stay!
Villa Valena was the perfect oasis for our week in Bonaire. The proximity to restaurants and the entrance to the water for snorkeling makes the apartment very interesting. The pool was wonderfully refreshing and the bed very comfortable! Everything was new and very clean. The kitchenette equipment was very practical, the only thing missing for us was a toaster. Villa Valena, a wonderful place
Centrally located,walking distance to Kralendijk, beautiful apartment with lovely pool. Highly recommended if you go to Bonaire! We booked an extra night on site, without any problem. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Valena!
The building is very new and has a nice shared pool and outdoor area.
The apartment is situated close (approx. 15 minute walk) to the city center of Kralendijk and nearby super markets (5 min drive).
The only thing that should be improved is the privacy as the terrace is exposed to the parking lots and the few plants are not sufficient to cover the fence. Also the curtains should be more opaque to defend against views inside the apartment. Read more 25th Nov 2024 by Domi via

As a guest of Villa Valena 5 you have access to the entire villa including the bedroom, bathroom, open kitchen, living room and both terraces. Additionally, you can use the shared tropical garden and the refreshing pool. Free parking on the premises is available.
