Kavel 17 – Laguna Breeze is a 55 m² apartment located in the Kavel 17 complex in the Kralendijk neighborhood, on the second floor. From the property you enjoy the shared pool and the surrounding area of the Laguna Marina. Supermarket Van den Tweel is located 2.1 kilometers away, Sebastian’s Restaurant is 1.4 kilometers away, Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are 1.2 kilometers away, and dive center Dive Friends Port Bonaire is 1.1 kilometers away. The shared pool is a standard pool available to all guests of the complex.

A must for anyone who truly wants to experience Bonaire is a visit to Washington Slagbaai National Park, the island's largest nature reserve in the northwest. The park offers two routes: the long route winds along spectacular coastal highlights such as Playa Chikitu, Boka Kokolishi, and Wayaka, while the short route cuts through the interior toward the Brandaris – Bonaire's highest peak at approximately 241 meters. The park's roads are unpaved and can be quite rough, so a pickup truck or SUV is a must. Bring plenty of water and set out early to beat the midday heat.

- City sounds – Kavel 17 - Laguna Breeze is located right in the heart of lively Kralendijk. On some evenings you may hear the cheerful Caribbean sounds from the boulevard drifting in – a lively backdrop that comes with this fantastic central location.
- No dryer – There is no clothes dryer on the property, but on Bonaire that's hardly an issue: sun and trade winds will have your laundry bone-dry within a few hours.
- No BBQ – Barbecuing is not available at this complex. Fortunately, there are public BBQ spots elsewhere on the island, and the many restaurants within walking distance in Kralendijk are a more than worthy alternative.

The neighborhood
Kralendijk's town center, with its waterfront boulevard, piers, sailing and motor boats moored at the buoys, and colorful facades, puts you right in the middle of the action: restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It's ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and love strolling along the waterfront in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base thanks to quick access to west coast dive sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect vibrancy, convenience, and the shortest travel times to all amenities in Bonaire's capital, Kralendijk.
Getting around
Although Kavel 17 - Laguna Breeze is centrally located in Kralendijk with many amenities within walking distance, renting a car is highly recommended if you want to explore the whole island. With your own wheels you can discover remote snorkel spots, quiet bays, and local restaurants beyond the town center at your own pace. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but a visit to Washington Slagbaai National Park requires a pickup truck or SUV – the park's roads are unpaved and can be too rough for a standard car. There is no public transportation on the island, and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Unique Laguna Breeze
We spent more than a week in Laguna Breeze (apt no. 10). The location of Watervillas (between the airport and the center) was great for us. The building is brand new. You can park your car in your own parking space behind a barrier. We often had the swimming pool with nice sunbeds to ourselves. This partment faces the wind, the combination with a view (and privacy) seemed unique to me. I'm not that quick on my feet anymore so the lift was important to me. The large refrigerator with ice cubes and air conditioning throughout the apartment were nice and luxurious in this heat, as were the washing machine and the dishwasher.

As a guest of Kavel 17 - Laguna Breeze, you have full access to the entire apartment: the bedroom with king-size bed, the bathroom, the open living and kitchen area, and the balcony. You also have access to the complex's shared pool. Free street parking is available directly outside the complex.
