Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21 is a spacious 150 m² apartment on the second floor of the Belmar Oceanfront Apartments complex, located in the prestigious coastal zone of Punt Vierkant. The apartment offers direct ocean views over the azure Caribbean waters. The Good and More supermarket is 350 meters away, restaurant Brass Boer is 750 meters away, and dive center Dive Friends Delfins is also 750 meters away. Playa Esmeralda (Ocean Oasis) beach is located 1.2 kilometers away. The complex features a shared outdoor swimming pool.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 each feature a comfortable king-size bed, while bedroom 3 has two twin beds — ideal for friends or children. Make sure to visit 1000 Steps, one of Bonaire's most iconic dive and snorkel sites. Despite the name, you'll only descend around 67 steps to the water — not quite a thousand. Once underwater, a stunning coral reef awaits, with an impressive wall that drops steeply into the deep blue. The reef is known for its rich marine life, including colorful reef fish, sea turtles, and the occasional large tarpon. The site is accessible for both snorkelers and divers and is just a short drive from Punt Vierkant — an absolute must during your stay.
Just so you know
- Stairs – The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessed via a staircase. Please keep this in mind if you have limited mobility.
- Shared garden – The garden at the complex is shared with other guests. On the bright side, it's a lush, tropical setting that's perfect for a morning coffee outside.
- No A/C in the living area – The bedrooms are kept comfortably cool by air conditioning. In the living area, ceiling fans and the option to open doors and windows provide a pleasant breeze.

Getting around
To truly explore everything beyond the immediate surroundings of Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21 in Punt Vierkant, renting a car is highly recommended. With your own wheels, every corner of Bonaire is within reach at your own pace — from secluded snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend that all guests rent a car so they can get around freely. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for natural areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is advised, as the roads inside the park are unpaved and can be quite rugged. There is no public transportation on Bonaire, and taxis are limited — especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Absolutely beautiful open air apartment
An absolutely beautiful open air setting and view that created an incredible vacation experience. We were not diving only snorkeling but the on site dive shop was still incredibly attentive and helpful with some things we needed. Very private and peaceful but also just enough opportunity to meet and get tips from fellow guests. Open air living & dining area is amazing, and bedrooms have A/C for a comfy sleep. Note spiral staircase to our 3rd floor apartment would be an issue with limited mobility but ground floor apartments seemed very accessible. Just a wonderful place to spend a vacation. As a guest of Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21, you have full access to the entire apartment, including all three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the open-plan living area and kitchen, and the balcony with ocean views. The shared swimming pool and shared garden of the complex are also available to all guests. Free parking is available on the premises. To give our guests a warm welcome and share everything they need to know about the apartment and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled personally by our team!
