Pixel Paradise oceanfront beach house with stunning views

Pixel paradise is truly paradise!

This was one of the nicer homestays I have ever been to. The house was so clean and comfortable and clearly loved. It had everything we could have possibly needed for the week we were there and the service and responsiveness was first rate. We loved this house and I have already recommended it to friends. I hope one day we will be able to be back! There is a spot right next to the house where sometimes people come park and hang out, but it didn’t bother us. There is a beautiful reef right in the backyard! It is an absolutely incredible place to stay with wonderful service. Five stars. Read more

Excellent stay, really well set up for divers

Four adult divers spent two weeks at the Pixel. We often stay at other accommodations near by, but thought we would try something new. And glad we did. Everything worked well from the set up for divers to strong quiet air conditioning to the responsiveness of management including Ellie who met us with keys when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked, which was good as we prepared all our meals in house. Two of us had to do some work remotely, and the wifi was just fine. And yes we are already making plans to return in a year and will arrange around the house availability. Read more

Tropical dream residence

Our stay at Pixel Paradise on Bonaire was fantastic! The villa is right on the sea, with breathtaking views and direct access to the azure waters - perfect for starting the day snorkeling. The spacious porch, modern kitchen (fully equipped) and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms made our stay extra pleasant. The location is quiet yet close to Kralendijk. I would not hesitate for a moment to rent this house again.

Beach House

Overall, this is a decent place to stay that is centrally located and sits directly on the ocean. The house itself is kept up pretty well and has indoor and outdoor space to relax. There is a clothes line and a dunk tank for scuba gear on the side, which is really convenient. (We happened to find this during our stay, but wasn't told about it from Sunwise when we arrived) A few issues... the staff at Sunwise Bonaire didn't seem very familiar with this home. We arrived and it was miserably hot inside. They hadn't turned on any fans, or AC, or opened any doors/windows to cool it down prior to us showing up. The beds and pillows provided are very uncomfortable (I know this is personal preference, but there was 1 pillow per bed and no extras or other options). They also only provide one roll of toilet paper and expect the guests to buy more. Lastly, just outside of the house seems to be a popular spot for locals to come sit in the car, play music, drink alcohol, and smoke weed every single night. All in all, It's a decent house and the location is excellent, but a few simple changes could have made this so much better. Read more

We could not be happier :)

Pixel Paradise was exactly what we needed for our Bonaire vacation. Amazing Location right on the water. Dive rinsing set-up was perfect along with an outside shower. House was well equipped with everything we needed including a cooler to use on our beach days. Ac worked great in the bedrooms. Overall we could not be happier with this house. Read more

I was not impressed

Personal check in and check out was not convenient and also required me to use international roaming which is very expensive. The main part of the house does not have air conditioning making our time at the home extremely uncomfortable and for the price we paid, I was not into having a rustic experience. They did bring an extra fan in which was very nice, but at 90 degrees and an east wind (which the house blocks), it was unbearable. There was construction going on right behind the house which we were unaware of so a ton of noise from early on to late in the day. Lastly, the house is next to a very popular tourist and/or local “hang” spot, so while we were enjoying our meals, laying out and reading, ect., the traffic with people right next to the porch was constant, some playing music and hanging out, some quiet, but leaving our time in the back not private. The house is beautiful, has everything you need, and the people are very nice. Just for the price we paid I was not impressed. Read more

Sunwise was a super host

Sunwise was a super host, everything went as planed and was uncomplicated. They even left us some welcome-beers in the fridge. The apartment was very nice, modern, clean, well located and the view speaks for itself. All in all, we had everything we needed and nothing was missing. We can totally recommend the place.
