Villa Kokopelli is a detached villa on the ground floor in the quiet residential area of El Pueblo Villas, with impressive sea views that set the tone for your entire stay. The villa spans 280 m² and features a private garden, a covered veranda, and a terrace. The Zhung Kong supermarket is located 4.8 kilometers away, snorkeling and diving spot Oil Slick Leap is just 650 meters down the road, restaurant It Rains Fishes is 8 kilometers away, and dive center Dive Friends Hamlet is 4.9 kilometers away. The private pool is exclusively for guests of the villa and forms the beating heart of the outdoor space.
Layout of the villa
The villa features three bedrooms: bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, bedroom 2 a queen-size bed, and bedroom 3 two twin beds – suitable for a variety of travel groups. There are two bathrooms. The spacious living room flows directly into a fully equipped open kitchen for those who love to cook: available appliances include a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, ice maker, and kettle. Outside, a private garden, covered veranda, and terrace await – perfect for breakfast in the open air, an afternoon siesta in the shade, or a long dinner under the stars.

Just a few minutes' drive from Villa Kokopelli lies Bari Reef and Isidel Beach Park, one of the most celebrated dive sites in the entire Caribbean. The reef starts just below the surface, making it accessible for snorkelers as well. Just so you know
- Distance to Kralendijk – Villa Kokopelli is situated a little outside Kralendijk's center. That means extra peace and space, and with a rental car you're in town within minutes for shops, restaurants, and the harbor.
- No dining table indoors – The villa doesn't have a fixed dining table inside, but the spacious covered veranda has a table where you can enjoy meals al fresco – with sea views as the backdrop.
- Animal visitors – Occasionally a curious lizard, a colorful bird, or another local resident may wander into the garden. A perfectly normal and charming part of life on Bonaire.

The neighborhood
Villa Kokopelli is located in El Pueblo Villas, a quiet villa district on the western side of Bonaire. The neighborhood is characterized by spacious plots, minimal through traffic, and a relaxed atmosphere – ideal for those looking to truly unwind. At the same time, the location is practical: snorkel spot Oil Slick Leap is within cycling distance, and Bonaire's sights and amenities are easily reached by rental car. The western position of the neighborhood also means stunning evening views over the Caribbean Sea.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to fully explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Villa Kokopelli in El Pueblo Villas. With your own vehicle, every corner of the island is reachable at your own pace – from secluded snorkel spots to cozy local restaurants. We strongly recommend renting a car for this reason. Most roads on Bonaire are well paved, but for natural areas such as Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is advisable, as the park roads are unpaved and sometimes quite rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transportation on the island, and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Perfect!
Loved staying in Villa Kokopelli! We preferred that the location was out of town a bit. It had a beautiful view being up on the cliff. While it was a bit hot not having AC in the main room of the house, the pool made up for it! It was wonderful lounging around in the pool looking at the beautiful sunsets! Can't wait to come back! Review of Kokopelli Bonaire
We had the pleasure of staying at Kokopelli for the last 2 weeks and it was everything we hoped it would be. Nestled in the El Pueblo community, the home was quiet and serene. The ocean was visible from most rooms and we enjoyed eating our own home cooked meals outside. The unit had all the necessary cooking utensils. The internet was fantastic and never failed. Villa Kokopelli
We stayed at Villa Kokopelli for 7 days in May. Communication with the Sunwise staff was great and renting was easy. The house was everything we hoped it would be. Photos are representative. If anything they undersold the ocean views, the busy vibrant garden landscape with all the birds, and the magnificent star watching from the rooftop deck. The outdoor living space makes it hard to leave the house. Indoors we were kept cool at night with the room air conditioners. Bed was comfy. One of our favorite vacation homes so far. This place was amazing! It was even better than the pictures, which were already gorgeous!
The space big and inviting, air conditioning in the bedrooms was amazing, and we can't say enough about the pool and patio area! Gorgeous views and nice and private.
For divers, not only were the rinse tanks great but having place to hang wet gear outside and know it was secure was awesome!

Beautiful Vacation
This house's views are the most breathtaking views on the island as far as I am concerned. We had coffee on the porch every morning, looking out at the amazing ocean. There were bushes right in front of the porch that always had hummingbirds flying around. The nature is unbelivable. Sunwise made it easy to check in (they met us there) and answered any questions I had, promptly via Whats App. They were alweays ready to help. Awesome home with a spectacular view!
We had a perfect vacation week at this home. It is excellent for diving; the location is perfect, you can walk to 2 sites easily for snorkeling, and the rinse sinks for gear and lots spots to hang everything to dry are luxuries. There is a huge deck overlooking the sea, a pool, and lovely plants and flowers that attract tropical birds! We loved this house for our 2-couple vacation. Would absolutely stay here again. We have had a great time in villa kokopelli Every morning again an amazing view over the sea. Spacious bedrooms and all luxury amenities Only minus points wifi was not very good Also several people simultaneously showering did not work because of the water pressure. Villa Kokopelli
We enjoyed our week-long stay at this ideally located villa. The vista from the spacious roofed patio was glorious: spectacular ocean views, hummingbirds, parrots, and sunsets. Just 10 minutes from town and easy commuting to either end of the island. Accommodations were very comfortable and the pool was relaxing. Access to snorkeling was within a ten minute walk. As a guest of Villa Kokopelli, you have full access to the entire villa: all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, the living room, the open kitchen, and all outdoor spaces, including the private garden, covered veranda, and terrace. The private pool is exclusively for villa guests. Free street parking is available directly in front of the property. To welcome our guests warmly and provide information about the accommodation and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled personally! The Sunwise hosts will coordinate the check-in time with you in advance.

The Sunwise team will do everything possible to make your stay at Villa Kokopelli enjoyable and hassle-free. During your visit we are available for questions, local tips, or assistance. Other things to note
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM and check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged upon request, subject to availability.
