General description of the house
Villa Azul I is a beautiful accommodation that offers you the best of Bonaire. Located in the quiet neighborhood of Belnem, you are never far from the attractions that this Caribbean island has to offer. Kralendijk, with its nice little shops, great restaurants and cozy bars, is just 5 kilometers away. The nearest restaurant, Brass Boer, is 1000 meters away and the beach Bachelor’s Beach is 900 meters away. Enjoy the peace and privacy of your private home, while still being close to all the action.
The layout of the house
This holiday home has 2 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, ideal for a family or a group of friends. The modern open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, kettle and oven. Very Nice Stay
The villa is very comfortable, it was 4 of us and everyone felt like home, separated bedrooms with own bathrooms on the upper floor gave us good privacy. Big day/living room with a open kitchen was well equipped- we had everything we needed plus a cool backyard with barbecue ,large table and jacuzzi was perfect for an evening chill ( although the tub could be in better shape).As for divers the extra locker room and rinsing tub for dive gear was just perfect. Fantastic apartment

Well appointed villa- great for divers!
We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Azul I. The apt is modern and clean with all the amenities needed to feel like home. The dive gear closet (that is lockable) and rinse tank outside made returning from shore dives super convenient! Anke & Mark were very responsive and great hosts. Perfect house for divers or windsufers. We were doing both and had ample storage for our gear, complete with proper Scuba Hangers in a secure locker and rinse tanks. The house had all the amenities, even a portable cooler and beach chairs for excursions. The Belnem location is perfect for access to Lac Bay and all the Southern dive sites. Small grocery store within a 5 min walk for stocking up and 5 min walk to Bachelors Beach. Sunwise made things really easy and we are planning our return for next year. Two thumbs up! We had an amazing stay at Villa Azul! We got welcomed by Mark who was really friendly. I immediately noticed how clean everything was and how spacious this villa actually is. One thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of mosquitoes, but that’s nothing new to me. There is no airconditioning in the living room, only in the bedrooms. We were totally fine with that as we didn’t spend lots of time in the villa. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We checked out around 5PM, as we could discuss with the host what time we had to leave the villa. All communication went super smooth and the hosts always responded super fast.
