Las Dunas is a spacious 120 m² apartment in Tortuga Apartments on the Kralendijk boulevard, offering stunning ocean views. The apartment is located on the third floor, providing an excellent vantage point over the coastline. The Van den Tweel supermarket is 1800 meters away, Isidel Beach Park 1900 meters, restaurant La Cantina 450 meters and dive center Dive Friends Den Laman 2400 meters. Guests can use the communal regular pool on the deck, perfect for a refreshing dip after an active day exploring the island.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment features two comfortable bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king-size bed and bedroom 2 also with a king-size bed. There are two bathrooms, which is convenient when traveling with several people. The bright living room connects to the balcony and the pool deck, creating a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The modern kitchen with built-in appliances is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, kettle and oven, making it easy to prepare your own meals during your stay.

A trip to Bari Reef and Isidel Beach Park is highly recommended if you enjoy snorkeling or diving. Bari Reef, close to Isidel Beach Park, is known as one of the most fish-rich reefs in the Caribbean, with more than three hundred fish species recorded. You can easily access the reef from shore, with generally calm conditions and clear visibility. Bring your snorkel or dive gear and take your time, as you’re likely to spot new species again and again along the colorful coral formations.

- Parking on the street – You park free of charge on the public road, where space is usually available.
- No screens – Not all windows have insect screens, so bringing repellent can be useful.
- No BBQ – Barbecuing is not possible here, but the boulevard offers plenty of dining options.

The neighborhood
Kralendijk center with its boulevard, jetties, sailing and motor boats on the moorings and colorful facades puts you right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure points for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you like to have everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling along the waterfront in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a great base thanks to quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience and the shortest travel times to the main facilities in Bonaire’s capital, Kralendijk.
Getting around
Las Dunas in Kralendijk is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer than just the immediate surroundings. With your own car you can explore the island at your own pace, from remote snorkel spots and dive sites to local restaurants scattered around the island. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas such as Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is advisable because the roads there are unpaved and sometimes rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise days.

Location Location! This has to be the best AirBNB in Kralendijk, the view from the outdoor space is picture perfect. You have access to everything within walking distance, shops, coffee, restaurants, and more. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you need. The building has an elevator which was a plus. What a wonderful time we had in this apartment. The location is fantastic, the kitchen fully equipped with everything you need and the apartment is clean and new. We definitely hope to come back! Fantastic wide view over the sea!
Beautiful, new apartment in the center of Kralendijk with a fantastic wide view over the Caribbean Sea! From the lovely balcony, enjoy the arriving and departing boats and (cruise) ships and the breathtaking sunsets.
Apartment is perfect for 4 people, with nice (cool) bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. But actually you mainly live on the lovely balcony!
Small downside for us was that it took a few days for the access to the (otherwise perfect) swimming pool (at nearby hotel) to be arranged. And that on the last day (after check-out at 10am) we could not store our suitcases somewhere. After all, the flight to the Netherlands is only in the evening.
Be aware that you are in the heart of Kralendijk with the advantage that you are within walking distance of all the cozy bars and restaurants... but also that there can be a lot of noise on the street at night.

Luxurious apartment with all amenities. Almost everything has been thought of. Located on the top floor. Stairs and elevator available. Beautiful view over the Caribbean Sea. On the boulevard and close to the nightlife of Kralendijk. Lively, therefore less suitable for those seeking peace and quiet among us. Lovely apartment!
This was a perfect apartment for our work trip. Wonderfully spacious apartment, air conditioning in the bedrooms, each private bathroom and everything complete in terms of appliances and utensils. Nothing was lacking at Las Dunas
What a wonderful vacation we had on Bonaire. We stayed in a brand new apartment "Las Dunas" part of the small-scale Tortuga apartment complex with sea view and very conveniently located near the center of Kralendijk. Restaurants, cozy boulevard, several beaches, all within walking distance.
We lacked nothing in this stylish apartment. Luxurious finish and equipped with every comfort. Very tastefully decorated.
We will definitely come back here again. Highly recommended and worth the maximum number of stars!

Guest access
As a guest of Las Dunas you have access to the entire apartment, including both bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the modern kitchen, the living room, the balcony and the pool deck with the communal swimming pool. Facilities such as the washing machine, air conditioning in the bedrooms and free street parking in front of the building are all at your disposal. To warmly welcome our guests and to explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals in person. The Sunwise hosts for the apartment will arrange a meeting time with you for check-in.
Interaction with guests
The Sunwise team will do everything possible to ensure you have a pleasant stay at Las Dunas. During your vacation we are available for questions, tips or assistance, so you can enjoy Bonaire without worries. You can best reach us via email or WhatsApp of the Sunwise guest team for Las Dunas, or through the messaging platform where you made your booking. During the day we usually respond quickly to your messages.
Other things to note
Check-in is from 3PM and check-out is by 10AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible on request, depending on other guests’ arrival or departure times. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise down in the evenings. Enjoy your stay at Las Dunas!
