Casa Presioso is a luxurious two-story villa on the edge of Santa Barbara, offering breathtaking views of the sea, Kralendijk, and Klein Bonaire, a private pool, a tropical garden, and special amenities for divers and snorkelers.
General description of the villa
Casa Presioso is located on a private cul-de-sac at the border of Santa Barbara. Its elevated position offers spectacular, unobstructed panoramic views of the sea, Kralendijk, and Klein Bonaire, stretching from the Slagbaai National Park in the north to beyond the salt pans in the south!
The villa is surrounded by a beautiful 1,088 m² garden with dozens of palm trees, bougainvillea, oleanders, and tuturutus blooming year-round. The location is ideal for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, with several dive sites nearby.
The layout of the villa
The villa features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All rooms have luxurious double box-spring beds, air conditioning, and ceiling fans with remote control. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, while the other two bedrooms share the second one. On request, the double beds can be separated into singles.
The open kitchen in the living area is fully equipped: from quality knives and a large collection of pots, pans, and utensils, to all the appliances a cooking enthusiast could wish for, including 2 ovens, a large gas stove with wok burner, spacious refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, blender, chopper, hand and stick mixers, dishwasher, toaster, 3 coffee machines (filter, pads, and capsules), citrus juicer, and even a slow cooker.
Outside you’ll find a private pool with a spacious sun deck, a veranda with a lounge area, and two outdoor dining rooms with large tables: one by the BBQ outdoor kitchen and a second on the breakfast/dinner terrace on the upper floor. On the ground floor, there’s a second fridge for cooling drinks by the pool, on the lounge bench, or in the hammock.
With solar panels, a solar water heater, LED lighting, and greywater recycling for garden irrigation, Casa Presioso contributes to sustainability and a more eco-conscious holiday experience.
Casa Presioso is especially suitable for divers and snorkelers: on the side of the house, you’ll find 3 rinse tanks for dive gear and underwater cameras, plus a lockable drying area.
The villa is also perfect for remote workers and digital nomads: Casa Presioso offers unlimited access to the fastest available fiber internet on Bonaire (> 100Mb). A computer (iMac) and laser printer are also available.

Totally lived up to the photos!

Outstanding home with great views
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Presioso. The home was well-equipped and had a great set up for our scuba gear. The view from the patio is amazing. Comfortable home for enjoying Bonaire
Set a little higher up, so you get the cooler breezes, but still have a beautiful view of the ocean. The home is just as advertised: fitted out for having meals in, and maintained well. Many places to lounge around: the deck on the front of the house, the deck on the back of the house, the patio by the pool—each furnished for sitting or dining or lounging. Bonaire Beauty
This home is a gem situated on a lot that felt very private with panoramic views of the ocean. The primary bedroom bed was incredibly comfy and the air conditioner kept us comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and the welcome snacks & drink were appreciated. There isn't a microwave - no big deal. There were many comfy seating areas to choose from. We loved watching all the birds - parrots, troupials, & doves and the sunsets were stunning. The pool was very private and nice to relax in after a day in the ocean. We loved our stay here despite a few hiccups
The highlights of this house are the views, the pool, and the peaceful surroundings. Roel and Nathalie were excellent to work with. Communication was great and they were very accommodating with the problems we had. The vehicle we rented from Roel was a bust and we lost several days of being able to travel freely. Not their fault but it was disappointing nonetheless. There is no microwave which I failed to notice in the listing. The AC is limited to the three bedrooms on the lower level. The kitchen and main living area is upstairs and with no AC it gets very hot and uncomfortable especially the first few days trying to adjust to the weather. My wife got stung by a scorpion that found its way into her shoe inside the home. That was a rough way to end 2024. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved Bonaire. Read more 3rd Jan 2025 by Josh via
Fantastic vacation with warm and loving hosts
Villa Casa Presioso is a dream in itself. In conjunction with the two hosts Roel & Mariëlle and the local support of Nathalie - who manages the property - we were able to enjoy an unforgettable vacation on the beautiful island of Bonaire for the second time. Wonderful vacation rental
The property is beautiful! It is in a neighborhood, but the landscaping makes it to where it is very private! The pool was wonderful, perfect to cool off in and relax. The kitchen has pretty much anything you need to cook with. Well stocked in seasonings too! We took advantage of the rental truck they offered and so glad we did. We used the truck to go around the island to all the different dive sites. We had a few, little issues but brought those to Nathalie attention so hopefully they are able to address those prior to the next visitors stay. They were having a “heat wave” while we stayed. Evidently this was cause to have rolling blackouts. According to locals it happens more frequently due to the growing population exceeding the power grids ability to keep up. We had 3 nights in a row where power was out for 5-7 hours. I won’t lie that was tough, especially in the middle of the night. Since power outages are a known thing on the island a generator would be a great addition to the house. Access to cleaning supplies would be a nice addition as well. We would have loved an all purpose cleaner to be able to wipe down the counters, sink, etc… especially after using the kitchen. The A/C in the bedroom worked great. There is only A/C in the bedrooms so plan meals accordingly. The kitchens heats up quickly and if the wind isn’t blowing in the right direction it gets hot quickly! Overall a wonderful experience. Our Home Away from Home
We just spent another glorious month at Casa Presioso and thoroughly enjoyed it. We keep coming back, and in fact booked our next year’s vacation while we were there. The reasons we return every year are manifold: great pool with fantastic privacy; lots of fun wildlife around the property including lizards, parrots, and hummingbirds; mosquito netting around the beds with air conditioning if you need it; conveniently located and in a quiet area of Bonaire; responsive property manager nearby (though we hardly ever have had to call her); great range of appliances and utensils.
