Beautiful and quiet place to stay
Bonaire is coming home for us. Casa Magnolia is on a very nice and quiet complex. Kralendijk, Belnem, the dive and snorkel sites, Te Amo Beach everything is close by. However, a car is recommended. The casa itself was fine. Everything is a bit outdated (sagging couch, sink didn't flush, outdated kitchen contents), but according to Ellie from Sunwise Bonaire this would be adjusted soon. The service from Sunwise Bonaire was top! Friendly, good, and fast communication!

Good value for money
I'll start with the positives: good value for money, very close to the airport and Te Amo Beach, private feel, good A/C unit, kitchen had all mod cons, very responsive host, nice pool, towels provided, close to Kralendijk. The only negatives were that it is literally across the street from the airport and is not walkable. You will need a rental car to get around. The airport is pretty small, and we did not find the noise from the airport to be excessive (maybe 3-4 flights per day). The host Ellie was very responsive via What's App, and when I broke a glass coffee pot, I had a new one the next morning and was not charged damage. The rental is as advertised, with a nice shaded porch where you can watch bananaquits (black and yellow birds) flit back and forth while you have your breakfast. Close to grocery stores, which are well-stocked. I dove with VIP Diving in Kralendijk, and they were first-rate, with good equipment and knowledgeable guides. Read more 24th Feb 2025 by Holly via

Feels better than being at home
Had another amazing 2 week stay with Sunwise Bonaire. Whenever we go to Bonaire, we always look for cheap flights 1st, book the flights, then head to Sunwise to find a place to stay. You will always find a great place to stay with them. Stayed at Casa Magnolia this time and it was very nice. Ellie was there to meet us at check-in and answered any questions we had. The village was especially nice in that it had a mix of long-term renters, short term renters, and owners. Had a very small issue with the microwave and ice dispenser on the refrigerator that was promptly handled by Christian. They are always very prompt to answer any questions you have via What’s App. For American who don’t use What’s App, learn to use it before you go.
