The villa features three spacious bedrooms with air conditioning and mosquito screens for a peaceful night’s sleep. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a kettle, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, blender, juicer, Nespresso, microwave, and dishwasher, perfect for whipping up a gourmet meal or a quick snack. The large living room is fitted with air conditioning for those warmer days.

Step outside to a beautiful terrace, pool deck, and garden, or unwind on the veranda. The villa also includes two and 1/2 bathrooms, ensuring ample space for everyone. The strong wind and plant free design give a much more mosquito free experience!

Layout of the villa

The villa features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 each have a comfortable king-size bed, while bedroom 3 offers a queen-size bed – perfect for couples or family members who appreciate a little extra space. The open-plan kitchen flows directly into the bright living room and is equipped with a brand-new kitchen unit and built-in appliances, including a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. Outside, you have a private garden, a covered veranda, a terrace, and a generous pool deck – more than enough space for a relaxed day in the sun or a laid-back evening under the stars.

Sunwise insider tip

One excursion you really don't want to miss: Klein Bonaire. This uninhabited little island sits just a fifteen-minute boat ride from the shore and has been part of the Bonaire National Marine Park since 2001 – making it an officially protected nature reserve. Surrounding Klein Bonaire you'll find dozens of dive and snorkel sites with crystal-clear water and an incredible abundance of colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. On the island itself there's a narrow sandy beach where you can kick back and relax. Renting a small boat through the marina is easy to arrange and absolutely worth it!

Just so you know

• No dryer – There's no clothes dryer in the villa, but on Bonaire that's barely an issue: thanks to the sun and the constant trade winds, laundry hung outside dries in just a few hours.
• Animal visitors – Every now and then a curious lizard or a colorful bird may wander into the garden. It's a typical Bonairean experience and most guests find it a delightful surprise.
• No TV – Casa Chillville doesn't have a television, but with lagoon views like these and fast Wi-Fi, you won't miss it – streaming on your own device works just fine.

The neighborhood

Casa Chillville is located in the Laguna Marina, a man-made lagoon situated between Kralendijk and the airport, connected to the Caribbean Sea via channels. The lagoon water is sheltered and calm, making it an ideal base for kayaking, paddleboarding, and relaxed water-based living – while the direct connection to open water also gives you easy access to the famous dive sites along Bonaire's west coast. Around the lagoon you'll find villas, small-scale resorts, and hotels such as Ocean Breeze, Plaza Beach Resort, and Water Villas Bonaire, many with their own mooring at home. It's a peaceful, water-rich neighborhood that's still just a few minutes' drive from the buzz of Kralendijk.

Getting around

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Casa Chillville. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Guest access

As a guest of Casa Chillville, you have full use of the entire villa: all three bedrooms, all three bathrooms, the open-plan kitchen, the living room, and all outdoor spaces – including the private garden, the covered veranda, the terrace, the pool deck, and the private pool. Direct access to the Laguna Marina is of course also at your disposal. Parking is free on the property. To give our guests a warm welcome and share everything they need to know about the villa and our beautiful island, we organize all arrivals personally! The Sunwise hosts of the property will coordinate your arrival time with you in advance.

Other things to note

Check-in to Casa Chillville is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
