Belnem Breeze Kas Julia is a ground-floor apartment within the small-scale Belnem Breeze Apartments complex, located in the Belnem neighborhood on the southern edge of Kralendijk. The apartment covers 60 m² and features a private garden and a covered veranda. The Good and More supermarket is just 100 meters away, restaurant Ocean Oasis is 900 meters away, and dive center Dive Friends Delfins is 450 meters away. Bachelor’s Beach, one of the finest beaches along the southern coast, is 1.1 kilometers away. Guests also have access to the complex’s communal swimming pool.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment features two bedrooms, each with a comfortable king-size bed, and two bathrooms. The open kitchen flows directly into the bright living area and is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle, plus a dishwasher for added convenience. Outside, a covered veranda and private garden invite you to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun or unwind in a fresh tropical setting in the evening. A washing machine is available for longer stays.

Make sure to set aside a day for a visit to Sorobon and Lac Bay, just a few minutes' drive from Kas Julia. Lac Bay is world-renowned as one of the best windsurfing and kiteboarding destinations on the planet, thanks to its consistent trade winds and the shallow, sheltered waters of the bay. The area is part of an officially designated Ramsar wetland site, which reflects its rich ecological importance. Sorobon itself is a charming small fishing harbor at the edge of the bay. Just so you know
- Street parking only – There is no private enclosed parking area, but there is generally plenty of free street parking directly in front of the property.
- Unpaved road – The access road to the complex is unpaved. It might give you a little "Bonaire massage" on arrival, but a regular car handles it just fine.
- No A/C in the living area – The bedrooms are kept pleasantly cool by the air conditioning units. In the living room, ceiling fans and the option to open the doors to the veranda provide a comfortable breeze.

The neighborhood
Belnem is located south of downtown Kralendijk, in the direction of the island's iconic salt flats: one of Bonaire's most well-known residential and vacation zones, traditionally linked to Harry Belafonte. Belnem has grown into an umbrella name for upscale sub-neighborhoods such as La Palma, Sabal Palm, Lima, Punt Vierkant, and Playa Esmeralda. You're close to beloved southern beaches like Bachelor's Beach and iconic dive sites – perfect for sunsets and a relaxed beach lifestyle. It's a quiet residential area with quick access to both the airport and the town center.
Getting around
A rental car is highly recommended if you want to explore the full island beyond the immediate surroundings of Belnem Breeze Kas Julia in Belnem. With your own wheels, you can reach every corner of Bonaire at your own pace – from secluded snorkel spots to local restaurants. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for a visit to Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is strongly advised, as the roads inside the park are unpaved and can be quite rugged. There is no public transportation on the island, and taxis are limited – especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

A very nice spacious place to stay. Cozy decor and everything is there to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The beds are lovely. This is a wonderful home base for adventure
Liked - Perfect location and large living area with large bedrooms with nice bathrooms Host was fast in responding to a window issue. Learned fast about induction stove and convection oven. No microwave here. No TV but really good internet.

A relief
What a wonderful stay at Kas Julia! A beautiful lovely spacious apartment with a lovely outdoor area. It is tastefully decorated with attention to detail, we like it very much. Not to mention the beds! They are really lovely. The apartment is fully equipped with even beach towels. The communal pool with sun beds made our stay complete.
