From 1 June: No health declaration

Travelers to Bonaire will no longer need to fill out a health statement as of June 1, 2022. It means that as of that date, no special travel conditions apply anymore for travelers to the island.

From 1 July: New tourist tax

Effective July 1, 2022, a tourist tax of $75 per visit to Bonaire will apply to each non-resident 13 years of age and older. Children up to and including 12 years of age who are non-residents and also residents of the other 5 islands of the former Netherlands Antilles will pay $10 per visit to the island.

Relaxation of entry conditions for Bonaire

Fully vaccinated travelers who received the second corona vaccination or booster shot, less than 270 days ago will not need to do a PCR or antigen test before traveling to Bonaire. All travelers must still fill out the health statement to come to the island. It does not matter if they are vaccinated or not.
