Many species of the Goby have certain markings on their body that helps them blend into their surroundings or serve as a form of communication. Gobies are known for removing parasites from the skin of larger fish, known for their cleaning behaviour. The waters surrounding Bonaire are home to a variety of marine life, including different species of gobies.
