Kas Vis with private pool in the upscale area of Punt Vierkant

Wonderful house!

What a beautiful and comfortable home in a pleasant neighborhood. A lovely (deep) pool, a large cozy outdoor dining table, sunbeds, chairs, a hammock, and a sofa. We made use of the barbecue and the facilities to rinse and dry our diving gear. The kitchen inventory, herbs, oil, dish soap, plenty of towels, books, and games — everything was there. Due to a delay, we arrived late in the evening, but luckily some drinks were waiting for us in the fridge, which was very nice after the long trip. The hosts were easily reachable, attentive, and friendly. We had an amazing vacation and would love to come back again. Read more

Kas Vis great spot

Great spot that's close to everything. Beautiful pool and good AC in bedrooms.
A bit tricky to find the first time. Google Maps leads you to EEG Blvd (the main strip), but you need to get to Kas Vis that is directly west of where Google sends you.
The hosts are incredibly responsive and accommodating. Read more

Lovely vacation home

Enjoyed staying in Kas Vis. Plenty of room for 8 people. Inventory kitchen is excellent. Nice large private pool, set in a beautiful garden. Communication with Sunwise (Jeroen) excellent. We look back with a good feeling on our vacation with our children. Read more

Beautiful villa with lovely pool

We stayed for two weeks in Kas Vis, a beautiful villa in Punt Vierkant. Four spacious bedrooms with bathrooms, spacious terrace and an excellent pool. Suitable for families, families and groups. Everything is there: washing machine, TV, books, cooking equipment and spices. The villa has been there for about ten years. This is noticeable here and there, for example in the kitchen. It could use a facelift. Nevertheless, a great stay for a reasonable price. Upon arrival there were some problems with the dishwasher and the tap, also the deck chairs were all broken. The manager Jeroen solved the problems with the dishwasher and the faucet smoothly. Thanks for that.

Kas Vis

We had a great time in the villa with our family consisting of 6 adults and a baby. The furnishing was complete. Due to the drought and because there were many construction workers at work in the area and there were also many road works it was extremely dusty so that before each use including kitchen, stove and tables had to be cleaned. Very dangerous, especially if you have children or elderly family

This property is not what we are accustomed to renting from Sunwise; our past experiences renting properties through Sunwise always met or exceeded our expectations. Kas Vis was more than disappointing; it was horrendous. It’s evident that the owners of this property do not reinvest in it, but most importantly, this property is extremely dangerous, especially for children or older people. The tile around the pool/patio is the same throughout the entire house. The tile is unsuitable for flooring and is usually only installed on shower walls. More specifically, the tile has no abrasion or traction, making it extremely dangerous when wet. In fact, we had two separate incidents where two individuals in our party slipped on the floor, causing injuries requiring treatment. The hazardous conditions required us to lay blankets on all foot traffic areas to prevent further slips. One of the Air Conditioner wall units was broken, and our guests had to sleep without air for two days until they replaced the unit. One of the faucets in the master bedroom was dripping, and the sink wouldn’t drain properly, resulting in the sink being half full; eventually, the faucet was replaced, and the drain was unclogged. Although there is a washing machine, there is no dryer. You are required to dry your clothes on a clothesline; however, due to construction behind the residence, there was a constant brown dust that would not only dirty the drying clothes but would also enter the open windows. We enjoyed our vacation at BONAIRE, thanks also to the lovely house Kas Vis. A beautiful garden with nice pool, great space and good amenities in the house. Only minus point perhaps the somewhat hard beds, but this may be personal. In short something with pleasure to look back on. Read more

A wonderful time

We had a wonderful time at this house! But just to preface it was very difficult to find at night in the dark in the rain. We thought we had screenshots of maps but that only got us close. With the help of locals we narrowed down the area and found the host waiting for us! The house is great. Four bedrooms, three and a half baths, great kitchen to cook in, pool. There’s no ac in the living areas, only in the bedrooms, but if all the windows are open there’s a nice breeze, and there are ceiling fans. The location is really good too. Grocery stores are about ten minutes away by car, the airport is about ten minutes away, there are restaurants nearby. It’s a small island so nothing is far. At night outside the gate, donkeys wandered around, and there is a pair of parakeets in the yard, as well as iguanas. We would all stay here again. Read more

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kas Vis

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kas Vis. The location was great, as we had both divers and kite surfers in our party. The rinse tanks were a plus. Elyse was so pleasant to work with and great at communication. The pool was awesome as we had 3 small children and they were entertained for hours in the pool while others were out in the ocean. We would definately stay here again and would not hesitate to use a property of Sunwise as they were so welcoming and easy to work with. Read more
