This villa is located on the first floor of Caribbean Club in the peaceful Sabadeco neighborhood. From the covered veranda, you have an unobstructed view of the Caribbean Sea – a view that never gets old. With a total surface area of 150 m², there is plenty of space both indoors and out. The distance to downtown Kralendijk is 7.9 kilometers. Rum Runners is 4.8 kilometers away for a relaxed dinner, and supermarket Zhung Kong is 4.4 kilometers. Top dive sites such as Oil Slick Leap are just 400 meters away, and Dive Friends Den Laman is only 5.5 kilometers. Also Pelican Pizza and Maçaroca Restaurant are within walking distance on the premises of Caribbean Club.

Just so you know
- Located farther from Kralendijk – But that means extra peace and no city noise or traffic.
- No supermarket within walking distance – The calm setting comes at a price, but driving gets you there quickly.
- Barbecuing is not possible here - Fortunately, there are many public barbecue spots on Bonaire, such as Seru Largu.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks here. This is probably our 12th time on Bonaire. This is by far our favorite place. absolutely loved having a screened in porch. It was so pleasant while we were there we slept with the windows open every night. The place was immaculate and the kitchen well stocked. Had one little issue with the shower and Margot was super quick to come and take care of it. The beds were very comfortable. The only negative thing is it is two twin beds put together in both bedrooms. Wasn't a big fan of the Gap between the two beds. There was not an iron or ironing board as listed but there were hair dryers which were not listed. Will not hesitate to stay here again. Pelican Pizza which is on the property is very good and walkable. Loved having washer and dryer and being so close to the northern dive sites. Nice having your own rinse, tanks and lockable dive storage. The area is very quite and peaceful. You do need a car if you stay here. Read more 1st Apr 2026 by Karen Shows via

Great stay at Happy Turtle Villa, we would definitely consider staying there again. The place was immaculate inside and out, from the main room, to the bedrooms and bathrooms, everything was in excellent condition. Margot met us at the villa for check in and explained everything to us and gave us tips on things to do. We used the scuba gear rinse tank and lockable dive closet every day. The dive closet included multiple hooks and racks, plus a closet rod with BC and wetsuit hangers and a floor drain, so convenient. We had a lovely 2 week stay in this villa. Spent most of our time on the large and comfortable screened in deck. The kitchen had everything we needed and the ac worked well. It was great to have a washer and dryer and a pool so close. It really felt like home and we were sad to leave. A beautiful house, comfortable, clean, and in a wonderful, peaceful setting. Something didn't quite go smoothly with our Airbnb booking. But Elyse's quick and friendly responses quickly alleviated our stress, and she resolved it perfectly for us. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at home thanks to Christiaan's warm welcome; drinks were even already in the fridge! The Happy Turtle
The Happy Turtle is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely perfect for the two of us…(the second bed and bath on the opposite side of the house would be great for another couple or a friend.) The refurbishment they did last December is about as close to flawless as I could imagine. Very tasteful, comfortable. Kudos to whoever was in charge of all of that. We cooked many meals in the well equipped kitchen. The fans and A/C allowed for ideal temperature control. Although we spent the majority of our time in the huge screened in deck/porch. Completely bug free….with a steady breeze, the rustle of the palms and the view of the sea. Most of all we loved the quiet location. Outside of town with easy access to Oil Slick Leap, Tolo, 1,000 Steps and Karpata. Everyone at Sunrise Bonaire was fantastic to work with. Communication and arrangements were easy breezy.
