Den Laman Tuna is a modern apartment located in peaceful Hato, on the second floor of the Den Laman Condominiums complex. This 80 m² accommodation offers fantastic sea views and is located just 15 meters from Isidel Beach Park. The location is ideal for diving enthusiasts: Dive Friends Den Laman is located just 5 meters away, while CHEFS Bonaire restaurant is 900 meters away and Zhung Kong supermarket is 1.2 kilometers away. The apartment features free parking on premises.

The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms with air conditioning and two complete bathrooms. The open kitchen directly adjoins the living room and features a new kitchen unit with built-in appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. Just a few minutes' drive north of your accommodation lies 1000 Steps, one of Bonaire's most iconic diving and snorkeling spots. The name is somewhat misleading – there are 'only' 67 steps that take you down to this idyllic beach. The location is particularly popular with both snorkelers and divers because of the beautiful coral reef that's directly accessible from shore. The crystal clear water and rich underwater world make this an unforgettable experience. Don't forget to bring your snorkel gear and enjoy the spectacular underwater world that has made Bonaire so famous!
Just so you know
- Stairs – The apartment is located on the second floor and accessible via stairs, which is less suitable for guests with mobility issues
- No dryer – There's no dryer available, but thanks to the Caribbean sun and wind your laundry dries bone dry within hours
- No pool – The complex doesn't have a swimming pool, but with the Caribbean Sea just 15 meters away you have the world's most beautiful 'pool' right at your doorstep

The neighborhood
Hato is a residential strip north of Kralendijk, from Harbour Village towards Sabadeco. Close to various beach clubs and dive resorts and the northern shore diving sites, with restaurants and shops within short driving distance. Hato combines convenience and tranquility: pleasant for families and watersport enthusiasts who want to get out quickly, but prefer to stay in a quiet neighborhood in the evenings.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Den Laman Tuna in Hato. With your own car you can reach all corners of the island at your own pace, from remote snorkeling spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone to rent a car, as you'll be able to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for natural areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There is no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked.

The Sunwise crew has always been amazing since we started booking through them 5 years ago. We have found that dealing with a family company means the best service compared to dealing with a corporate employee. Prompt replies to all emails and texts. Fast dealing with any issues that have arisen. They have always been there to give us the key and show us around the place. And their rental car partner, 123 Rental, is another family-owned business. Den Laman condo Tuna
My recent stay at Den Laman Tuna was wonderful. Sunwise Bonaire people met me at the unit to give me keys and show me the unit. The unit was spotlessly clean with freshly laundered bedding and towels. The kitchen was also spotless with sufficient dishes, utensils, pots and pans as well as some spices and bags. Perfect scuba get away
My family with 2 kids age 14 and 11 stayed at Den Laman for a week. The views were incredible. Scuba was easy as we were able to park and exchange our scuba gear easily at the dive shop next door. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook 3 meals a day. The hosts responded to questions immediately and accommodated our late flight out. Second Time – Even Better Than The First!
This was our second stay in "Tuna." Well-appointed and maintained condo, great location. The service we received from Sunwise was fantastic. Before we could even ask, they offered to let us store our luggage in another unit after our checkout time (checkout is at 10am but our flight wasn't until 3:30pm). Great stay on a beautiful island
Sunwise does a wonderful job making everything smooth and seamless. The unit was well equipped and comfortable. Every company and individual unit is a bit different, so be sure to read about whether a mid week cleaning is offered, extra TP, soap, etc. They were very accommodating and easy to deal with. Perfect Vacation
Our stay at Den Laman in the Tuna unit was the perfect vacation! The Tuna unit is very roomy & comfortable, the view is amazing & we appreciated the other amenities. The convenience of having on-site diving on an amazing house reef made for very easy diving and we did all 60+ of our dives on Bari Reef. We can't wait to go back! As a guest of Den Laman Tuna you have access to the complete apartment, including both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the open kitchen, living room and the balcony with sea views. You can use the free parking space on premises and have direct access to the beach just 15 meters away. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanation about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals personally! The Sunwise hosts of the accommodation will make arrangements with you about your arrival.

You can reach us most easily through the Guest App (the link is in your confirmation e-mail), by e-mail or WhatsApp of the Sunwise guest team for Den Laman Tuna, or through the messaging platform where you made your booking. We usually respond quickly, especially during the day, and will make sure your stay on Bonaire is unforgettable.
Other things to note
Check-in is from 3PM, check-out is by 10AM. Early or late check-in or check-out is possible upon request, depending on other guests. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations.
