General description
Villa Gemini is a detached villa of no less than 300 m², situated in the peaceful residential neighborhood of El Pueblo Villas. The villa offers impressive sea views and features a private terrace and a rooftop terrace where you can soak in the spectacular panorama over the Caribbean Sea and Klein Bonaire. Supermarket Zhung Kong is 4.7 kilometers away, restaurant Rum Runners is 5.1 kilometers away, and dive center Dive Friends Hamlet is 4.8 kilometers away. The nearest dive site, Oil Slick Leap, is just 600 meters away. The villa has an exclusive private pool for the sole use of its guests.
Layout of the villa
The villa features four spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms. Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3 each have a comfortable king-size bed, while bedroom 4 has two twin beds — ideal for children or friends. The open-plan kitchen flows directly into the living area and is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, kettle, and an ice maker. A visit to Rincon, the oldest village in the Dutch Caribbean, is an absolute must. This authentic settlement is tucked away in a lush valley surrounded by hills — a location that once protected it from pirate raids. Today, Rincon still exudes that same special, unhurried character of days gone by. Stroll through its colorful streets, sample traditional Bonairean cuisine, and stop by the Cadushy Distillery: the island's only distillery, where you can taste liqueur made from the local kadushi cactus. Rincon is about a twenty-minute drive from El Pueblo Villas and well worth the trip.
Just so you know
- No dryer – There's no clothes dryer, but on sunny Bonaire the laundry dries quickly thanks to the sun and wind — and a washing machine is of course available.
- Distance to Kralendijk – El Pueblo Villas is situated a bit outside the center of Kralendijk, but that translates into peace and space. With a rental car, you're in the heart of town within minutes.
- No A/C in the living area – The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning for a cool night's sleep. In the living room, fans and the option to open doors and windows keep things comfortably breezy.

The neighborhood
Villa Gemini is located in El Pueblo Villas, a quiet and green residential neighborhood on Bonaire. The area is characterized by spacious plots, little traffic, and a serene atmosphere that stands in pleasant contrast to the busier tourist center. At the same time, Kralendijk — with its restaurants, shops, and lively waterfront promenade — is less than ten minutes away by car. The villa's position on the western side of the island means that some of Bonaire's finest dive and snorkel sites, including nearby Oil Slick Leap, are just moments away.
Getting around
To fully explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Villa Gemini in El Pueblo Villas, a rental car is an absolute must. With your own wheels, every corner of Bonaire is reachable at your own pace — from secluded snorkeling spots to local restaurants. Most of Bonaire's roads are paved, but for visits to nature reserves such as Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is strongly recommended, as the roads inside the park are unpaved and can be quite rugged. Keep in mind that there is no public transportation on the island and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Beautiful Bonaire
We had a wonderful time at Villa Gemini. The pictures on the website did not lie: beautiful accommodation. Friendly introduction by Chris - around midnight because the plane arrived 3 hours late. The children appreciated having their own room with private bathroom and the view from the roof terras is simply stunning. The main charm is the first floor: chilling, sunbathing, taking a splash, it's the perfect way to relax after a day of diving. But when you want to dine outside, you better wait until sunset. The location is excellent, a 10 minute drive to Kralendijk. The compound has a gate that closes at night, but you have access with an access code. There is also a walking trail to the local snorkeling/diving spot Oil Slick Leap with an access code. One evening we noticed a problem with the barbecue, we sent an email and when we returned from diving the next day it was fixed. We have good memories of Villa Gemini! Fantastic Views

Very nice stay, much better and more relaxing than in a hotel or something like that
Liked - We really liked the location as divers. The house was very spacious with 4 bedrooms. Nothing was missing except maybe a deck chair more on the terrace and a little more ice cubes from the ice maker. Refrigerator.

Great vacation home
Great vacation home with an amazing view perfectly located away from the noise of the city.
The view from deck is amazing both morning and evening. The house was very secure and we felt safe. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the pool provided extra comfort.
The house had a couple of plumbing issues. One bedroom shower had a really slow drain. The biggest issue was the rinse tanks for scuba gear not draining. This made it difficult to care for our gear. Read more 4th Aug 2024 by Terry via
Villa Gemini was the perfect escape
My husband and I spent a week at Villa Gemini in May 2024. It was our 5th time to beautiful Bonaire, and 1st time working with Sunwise Bonaire and staying at this villa. The neighborhood was cute, quiet, safe, and gated. Booking, check-in, and check-out with Sunwise Bonaire was easy and laid-back. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed, plus a beautiful pool, ocean view, and roof-top deck. I would highly recommend this property, and working with Sunwise in general. As a guest of Villa Gemini, you have exclusive access to the entire villa, including all four bedrooms, four bathrooms, the open-plan living room and kitchen, the terrace, the rooftop terrace, and the private pool. Parking is free on the property's own grounds. To give our guests a warm welcome and share everything they need to know about the villa and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled in person by our team. The Sunwise hosts for this property will coordinate the check-in time with you in advance.

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early or late check-in and check-out may be arranged on request, subject to availability.
