Seaside Apartment Seabird 303 is a 100 m² apartment located in Seaside Apartments in the center of Kralendijk, on the second floor (accessible by elevator) with beautiful sea views. The nearest supermarket, Zhung Kong, is 2 kilometers away, Chachacha Beach is 1.8 kilometers away, restaurant It Rains Fishes is 850 meters away, and dive center Dive Friends Yellow Submarine is just 50 meters away. The apartment has access to a shared outdoor pool and free parking both on the premises and on the street.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment features one bedroom and two bathrooms, ideal for two guests who appreciate having extra space. The living room is bright and comfortably furnished and opens directly onto the modern kitchen, which is fitted with a new kitchen block and built-in appliances. Just a short drive from Kralendijk, you'll find one of the island's most iconic dive and snorkel spots: 1000 Steps. Despite the name, there are actually only about 67 steps leading down to a picturesque little beach on Bonaire's west coast. Once you're at the bottom, a spectacular reef awaits with crystal-clear water, impressive coral formations and remarkable fish diversity – even snorkelers can enjoy the shallower sections close to shore. After your dive or snorkel session, the climb back up makes for a natural cool-down. It's an absolute must for anyone looking to explore Bonaire's underwater world.
Just so you know
- No dryer – There is no clothes dryer, but on Bonaire the combination of sunshine and trade winds means laundry dries surprisingly fast – usually within a few hours.
- City sounds – Thanks to the central location on the boulevard, you may hear the lively sounds of Kralendijk on some evenings – think of it as a genuine Caribbean soundtrack at sunset.
- No BBQ – Barbecuing on the property is not possible, but the many great restaurants within walking distance are more than a worthy alternative. If you'd still like to grill outdoors, public BBQ spots such as Seru Largu are available nearby.

Kralendijk's downtown waterfront, with its boulevard, docks, sailboats and motorboats moored at the buoys, and colorful building facades – this is where you find yourself right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal if you want everything within walking distance and enjoy an evening stroll along the waterfront. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a great base thanks to its quick access to the west coast dive sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect vibrancy, convenience and the shortest travel times to all the amenities Kralendijk has to offer.
Getting around
While Seaside Apartment Seabird 303 is centrally located in Kralendijk with many amenities within walking distance, a rental car is essential on Bonaire once you want to explore beyond the immediate area. With your own vehicle, you can reach every corner of the island at your own pace – from secluded snorkel spots along the west coast to local restaurants in Rincon. We strongly recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for visits to nature areas such as Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is highly recommended, as the roads inside the park are unpaved and can be quite rugged. There is no public transportation on Bonaire, and taxis are limited – especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

For us a good place near the boulevard, you can easily walk to Kralendijk city center. Also along the boulevard you can easily get into the water.

Simon (Sunwise) was great
Great view from the double sundecks! Overall the space is large, with all the kitchen supplies you require. The only negative is the bed. Two twin mattresses pressed together to make a king. Regardless, of how you start out sleeping you find yourself in the crack between the beds. Creating an uncomfortable sleep.

As a guest of Seaside Apartment Seabird 303, you have full access to the entire apartment: the bedroom, both bathrooms, the open-plan living room and kitchen, the balcony with sea views, and the shared outdoor pool. Free parking is available both on the Seaside Apartments premises and on the street. The second floor is easily accessible via the elevator in the building. To warmly welcome our guests and provide an introduction to the apartment and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled personally! The Sunwise hosts for this property will coordinate your arrival time with you in advance.
