In the lovely, new residential area Sur Salinja, Sunwise Bonaire offers this nice 4-person townhouse, with 2 bedrooms and a nice, cooling private swimming pool with pool deck, on a location not far from the center of Kralendijk and some of the finest beach clubs on the island.

Casa Papaya has two bedrooms and a spacious living room, all with airconditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a porch which is well situated on the wind, a nicely cooling pool, surrounded by a well-maintained garden. All windows have mosquito screens.
Close to restaurants
Sur Salinja is a very popular, new residential area with a nice mix of holiday homes and permanent residents. Bonaire Airport is at less than 10 minutes by car and to get to the restaurants and shops of Kralendijk it’s only a 5 minute’s drive. Furthermore, the boulevard and the ocean are within walking distance!

New tourist tax regulation
For arrivals on July 1, 2022 and later, visitors to Bonaire must pay the entry tax themselves – online on Bonairegov.com. The tax can also be paid upon arrival, at the airport.

We give our stay at Villa Papaya the maximum of 5 stars. The villa is really equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
The furnishings are perfect and everything is very lovingly designed. The beds were perfect for us. We slept as well as we would have at home. There were more than enough towels. Even 4 large beach towels which we thought was great. The table, chairs and loungers were top notch. Very nice we found the fans and the airco in the living room.
We also liked the lounge corner in the garden.
The wifi reception was also great.
The pool is not deep and not big, but we were very happy to have it in September.
Very cool we found the possibility to rinse and hang up our diving equipment.
In the kitchen there was also everything you need to cook. And we cooked a lot ourselves.
It was hard for us to leave Bonaire and this beautiful villa.
We are already looking forward to our next visit to Villa Papaya and thank the owners.

Located perfectly!
The accommodation was located perfectly. It is close to the city by walk and close to the ocean to look at the sunset. The house is located in a quiet and nice new surrounding with nice neighbors. The house suits good for 4 adults and the kitchen is very well equipped. In the morning you have nice birds in the papaya tree, having breakfast. Simon and Cecile made a perfect job and the contact was very pleasant. Questions were very quickly answered.
