Getting around
A rental car is essential on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of this accommodation in undefined. With your own car, you can reach every corner at your own pace, from secluded snorkel spots to local eateries. We recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The park’s roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, so a regular car isn’t suitable. There’s no public transportation and few taxis, especially on busy cruise days.

The hosts are great! Quick to respond and very cooperative. The house was quite comfortable and equipped with many amenities. What could become a downside over time is the maintenance and condition of the furnishings. The location is peaceful and offers plenty of privacy. The small park also feels like a safe, enclosed environment. You can easily find the livelier areas — just a 20-minute walk takes you right to the heart of the action. Almost perfect
Great location — quiet neighborhood and easily accessible. Nice shower and comfortable bed. We missed having curtains for a bit more coziness and privacy. A few more than two small coffee cups would have been convenient. Appreciated the attentive email communication with Sunwise. Great Location in Quiet Neighborhood
We really enjoyed our time at the Casa Papaya. The home was perfect for us and the kiddos, the pool was fantastic and the AC worked great at night to cool the home quickly. A wonderful place to stay
What a wonderful place to stay on Bonaire. A private place with lots of privacy close to the center of Kralendijk. Everything was clean, lovely terrace and a swimming pool to cool off daily. Communication with owner went smoothly and smoothly.

Private holiday home
We rented a vacation home for about two weeks through Sunwise Bonaire. We did that for the first time and did not regret it. Our family consists of three people. Father, mother and teenage daughter. The house has two bedrooms and a private pool. Also a must is a small shed with a washing machine. (That was not mentioned). A minus point is that there was a TV but has no TV channels. Not that we watch TV all day but would like to watch TV occasionally. For the rest a top cottage and fully equipped. The contact with Sunwise was also excellent, via the @mail and via the whatsapp, they answered very quickly. In English as well as in Dutch. That went very well. We will book again via Sunwise.
