We had a really good time

We stayed with our extended family and our 10 month old daughter at Casa Leeuward. We had a really good time. The villa was big enough for all of us to have sufficient privacy (all bedrooms have their own bathroom) and to share the well-equipped kitchen, living room and patio. The house was nice and clean and more than enough towels were provided for each of us. Our Sunwise host, Elyse, was very responsive and helped us out with all our questions and needs.

Unfortunately there was no opportunity for a late check-out or luggage storage after check-out, so we would recommend to book a day extra if your flight doesn't leave until the end of the day (especially when traveling with a baby). Elyse did give us some tips for a resort where we could book a day-pass and store our suitcases - so everything was solved nicely.

Beautiful location, lovely home!

Although our stay was unfortunately cut short due to a family emergency, we did enjoy our stay while there. Beautiful location, lovely home. We just had a few concerns about some safety features or actually lack of… the doors lock from the inside with a key. In the event of an emergency exit, and you don’t have your key handy, you can’t open the doors. The stairs going up to the 2 top bedrooms are so steep. There should be a railing off the deck out back as it’s a straight drop down to the lower deck by the water. There should be a railing to assist in getting in and out of the pool. The tiles on the outdoor patio are super slippery when wet. There should be a step down off the patio to the side walkway. There should be a proper barrier on the floor of each shower so that the water does not flow out of the shower area.
