Belnem Breeze Rileks is a comfortable apartment in Bonaire Beach Apartments in the Belnem neighborhood. The 110 m² apartment offers partial sea views and a convenient location: supermarket Good and More at 100 meters, Bachelor’s Beach at 1 kilometer, Foodies at Lac Bay at 8 kilometers and dive center Dive Friends Delfins at 1 kilometer. The apartment is located on the ground floor and provides access to a shared regular swimming pool with a pleasant pool deck in the communal garden.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment has two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, and two full bathrooms. The open kitchen connects directly to the living room and leads out onto the balcony overlooking the communal garden and pool deck. Outside, you can relax on the balcony and use the shared garden. The kitchen is practically equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, freezer, kettle and oven, making it easy to prepare your own meals during your stay.

From Belnem Breeze Rileks it’s only a few minutes’ drive to Bachelor’s Beach, a beloved beach on the southern edge of Kralendijk. This narrow strip of sand lies at the foot of a low cliff, giving it a cozy, tucked-away feel. It’s an excellent spot to relax between swims and to snorkel along the shoreline. Bring your mask and snorkel to explore the clear water and many reef fish, and feel free to stay into the late afternoon for a laid-back end to the day.
Just so you know
- No BBQ – Barbecuing isn’t possible here, but there are several coastal spots and beach bars nearby where you can enjoy open-air dining.
- Unpaved access road – The access road is unpaved and a bit bumpy, but easily manageable with a regular rental car.
- No A/C in the living room – The living room has no air-conditioning, but with a ceiling fan and open doors to the balcony you’ll usually have a pleasant breeze.

The neighborhood
South of the center and toward the salt pans, Belnem is one of Bonaire’s best-known residential and vacation areas, traditionally linked to Harry Belafonte. Over time, Belnem has become an umbrella name for upscale sub-neighborhoods such as La Palma, Sabal Palm, Lima, Punt Vierkant and Playa Esmeralda. Here you’re close to popular south coast beaches like Bachelor’s Beach and iconic dive sites, perfect for sunsets and relaxed beach life. It’s a quiet residential area with quick routes to the airport and downtown Kralendijk.
Getting around
Belnem Breeze Rileks in Belnem is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings. With your own vehicle you can explore remote snorkeling spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We recommend renting a car so you can truly get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park’s roads are unpaved and sometimes rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise days.

This place was incredible
This place was incredible. It was better than expected close to the beach and right next door to a little grocery store. Mark was great! He met us at check in/check out, was responsive but no overwhelming and even helped carry our bags up. The condo was clean roomy and the pool area and lockers for beach/dive equipment was amazing. As a guest of Belnem Breeze Rileks you’ll have access to the entire apartment, including both bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the open kitchen, the living room and the balcony. You can also make use of the communal garden and the swimming pool with pool deck of Bonaire Beach Apartments, as well as parking both on the premises and on the street. To warmly welcome our guests and provide information about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals in person. The Sunwise hosts of the apartment will arrange your check-in with you.

Check-in is from 3PM and check-out is by 10AM. If our schedule allows, we’re happy to arrange an early check-in or late check-out on request.
