Tip: Bachelor’s Beach is a lovely spot on the southern edge of Kralendijk. The beach sits at the foot of an approximately 3-meter-high rock wall and forms a narrow, largely hidden strip of sand. A staircase leads down to calm water with enjoyable snorkeling along the reef. Water shoes help with entry. Stay into late afternoon for softer light and an easy swim after an active day.

Getting around

A rental car is essential on Bonaire to explore beyond the immediate surroundings of Belmar 11 in Punt Vierkant. With your own car you can reach every corner at your own pace, from secluded snorkel spots to local eateries. We recommend renting a car. Most roads are paved, but for Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup or SUV is advised. Park roads are unpaved and can be rough. There’s no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on cruise days.

Guest access

As a guest of Belmar 11 you’ll have access to the entire condo: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the open kitchen, living room, balcony, and the shared garden. You can use the resort’s shared pool, and there is free parking both on the premises and on the street. The entrance is private to this unit. To warmly welcome you and share tips about the condo and our beautiful island, we personally host all arrivals! The Sunwise hosts will coordinate your check-in time with you.
