Belair Caribbean Sea is a spacious 120 m² studio located in sought-after Belnem, south of the center towards the salt pans. This accommodation is situated on the ground floor of the BelAir complex and offers beautiful ocean views. With Good and More supermarket at 450 meters, Playa Esmeralda (Ocean Oasis) at 900 meters, restaurant Brass Boer at 850 meters, and Dive Friends Delfins dive center at 750 meters away, everything is within reach. The accommodation has no pool but offers direct access to the ocean with a house reef right in front.

Layout of the apartment

The apartment features two bedrooms with air conditioning for comfortable sleeping and two full bathrooms. The open kitchen directly adjoins the living room and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, coffee maker, and kettle. The spacious terrace with ocean views provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets over the Caribbean Sea.

A short drive from Belair Caribbean Sea lie Bonaire's famous salt pans, where Canadian multinational Cargill has managed salt production since 1997 with modern facilities that produce hundreds of millions of kilos of salt annually. This industrial operation has created the iconic white salt pyramids that have become so characteristic of Bonaire's southern landscape. But the real magic happens at the pink salt lakes, where thousands of flamingos forage in the salty water. The contrast between the bright pink birds and white salt mountains creates one of the island's most photogenic scenes – perfect for an early morning or late afternoon excursion.

Just so you know

• No BBQ – there's no barbecue facility on-site, but luckily there are beautiful public BBQ spots like Donkey Beach or Seru Largu
• No dining table inside – there's no dining table indoors, but the spacious terrace with ocean views provides the perfect setting for long dinners in the open air
• No pool – there's no swimming pool, but with the Caribbean Sea just 900 meters away you have the world's most beautiful 'pool' within reach

The neighborhood

South of the center and towards the salt pans: one of Bonaire's most famous residential and vacation zones, traditionally linked to Harry Belafonte. Belnem grew into a collective name for luxury subdivisions like La Palma, Sabal Palm, Lima, Punt Vierkant, and Playa Esmeralda. You're close to beloved south coast beaches (like Bachelor's Beach) and iconic dive sites; ideal for sunsets and relaxed beach life. Quiet residential area with quick routes to airport and downtown.

Getting around

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Belair Caribbean Sea. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

As a guest at Belair Caribbean Sea, you have access to the entire 120 m² studio, including both air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, the fully equipped open kitchen, living room, and spacious terrace with spectacular ocean views. You can park for free both on the premises and on the street, and the house reef directly in front of the accommodation is completely at your disposal for unlimited snorkeling pleasure. Check-in to Belair Caribbean Sea is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
