WS Kas di Bientu is a single-level apartment in the Belnem neighborhood, located in the small-scale Windsock Beach Apartments complex. The 120 m² apartment offers a garden view and is conveniently located for amenities: supermarket Van den Tweel at 4.1 kilometers, Bachelor’s Beach at 300 meters, Sebastian’s Restaurant at 3.4 kilometers, and dive center Dive Friends Port Bonaire at 1.3 kilometers. In the shared tropical garden there is a regular outdoor swimming pool available for guests.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment has two bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second bedroom with a queen-size bed. There are two bathrooms, which is very convenient when staying with several people. The bright living room connects directly to the terrace and the shared garden. The open kitchen with island adjoins the living room and terrace and is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, ice maker, and kettle, ideal for cooking together and unwinding after a day at the beach or diving.

From WS Kas di Bientu you can easily walk to Bachelor’s Beach, a popular beach on the southern edge of Kralendijk. This narrow sandy beach lies at the foot of a low rock wall and is known for its crystal-clear blue water. It’s a favorite spot to relax and to snorkel along the shoreline. Bring your snorkel gear, as you can often see colorful reef fish in the shallow water. Stay a bit longer: sunsets along this stretch of coast are often spectacular.

- No A/C in the living room – The bedrooms do have air conditioning, and with open doors and a breeze the living area still feels comfortable.
- No dryer – There is no tumble dryer, but thanks to Bonaire’s sun and wind your laundry usually dries quickly on a rack.

The neighborhood
South of the center and towards the salt pans, Belnem is one of Bonaire’s best-known residential and vacation areas, traditionally linked to Harry Belafonte. Over time, Belnem has become an umbrella name for upscale sub-neighborhoods such as La Palma, Sabal Palm, Lima, Punt Vierkant, and Playa Esmeralda. You’re close to popular southern beaches like Bachelor’s Beach and iconic dive sites, ideal for sunsets and laid-back beach life. It’s a quiet residential area with quick routes to the airport and downtown Kralendijk.
Getting around
WS Kas di Bientu in Belnem is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings. With your own car you can reach remote snorkeling spots, dive sites, and local restaurants at your own pace. We recommend everyone to rent a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas such as Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The roads in the park are unpaved and can be rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise ship days.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Our main goal was to dive, which this location is perfect for - two dive sites are within a walking distance - the Windsock House Reef and the Bachelor's Beach. The latter also has a sandy portion for snorkelers and sunbathers. The Wannadive dive shop is also just a minute walk. The shop provides a great easy-going service with a free Nitrox upgrade. (Although they did sell me a new LPI hose for $50 after mine blew...)
The AirBnB location is also great for getting to the main southern dive sites - you don't have to drive thru the city. Very handy if you forgot something important :)
The unit itself was clean and comfy with a high speed internet, air conditioning and sufficient kitchen amenities to cook for yourself. Considering the crazy restaurant prices, it was very beneficial.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this location, in fact, I already did recommend it at my dive shop. Hope to come back soon enough!

Such a great stay!
Such a great stay! Apartment was in an awesome location within a 5min walk of Bachelor beach and 5min drive to grocery stores & downtown. We loved having the pool for a cool down and it was a pleasant surprise to see beach chairs and coolers provided as well. Host was super friendly and helpful. A place we would like to call home
Very nice apartment with all the facilities we needed. Our bathrooms were not completely finished but we could use everything without being bothered and it was clean. Not a big pool but the kids enjoyed it and with the sea across the street, bigger is not necessary. Even though we were on the street we still had a lot of privacy. We will definitely come back here. Very spacious apartment. You can open everything (patio doors) so everything blows well. 2 spacious bedrooms with bathroom and separate toilet. Air conditioning in bedroom is nice. The kitchen is fully equipped. Cool box, chairs to take during the day, you name it. Wifi available. Hosts are very nice and easily accessible. You actually live outside, so the living room is not used. The terrace in the evening is very nice. Yes there are mosquitoes, but they are all over the island. Good spray helps. As a guest of WS Kas di Bientu you have access to the entire apartment, including the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, the living room, and the open kitchen with island. You can also use the terrace, the shared tropical garden, and the shared pool within the Windsock Beach Apartments complex. Parking on the premises is available. To warmly welcome our guests and explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals in person. The Sunwise hosts of the property will arrange your check-in time with you.
