La Palma on Bonaire is a new residential area with detached homes and a modern infrastructure. La Palma is located south of the airport in Belnem, next to Sabalpalm Villas, along the road between Belnem and Sorobon.

Kralendijk and the Sorobon area, with the popular surfing area Lac Cai, are a 10-minute drive by car. The nearest beach is Bachelor’s Beach. Popular diving spots such as Hilma Hooker, Alice in Wonderland, and Salt Pier are just a few minutes’ drive away.

    Since 2010, the Bonairean government has informally allowed vacation rentals at La Palma despite zoning restrictions. However, in 2024, authorities began enforcing the ban. As a result, the vacation villas we previously offered for short-term rental in this area are now only available for long-term rental.

    The properties we still offer in this neighborhood have been granted an exemption by the government, as they were already rented out to vacationers before 2010.
