This beautiful penthouse apartment is located on the third floor of the modern Belnem Breeze Apartments complex in the desirable Belnem neighborhood. With a generous size of 110 m², this accommodation offers spectacular ocean views over the Caribbean Sea. The Good and More supermarket is just 100 meters away, while the popular Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are 2.4 kilometers away. La Cantina restaurant is within 5.7 kilometers and Dive Friends Delfins dive center is 1 kilometer away. The apartment features access to a wonderful regular shared swimming pool where you can cool off and relax.

A short drive from the penthouse are the iconic salt pans of Bonaire, where Canadian multinational Cargill has managed salt production since 1997 with modern facilities that produce hundreds of millions of kilos of salt annually. You'll recognize them by the impressive white salt pyramids that serve as beacons in the southern landscape of the island. This industrial wonder combined with the natural beauty of the salt flats creates a remarkable contrast that fascinates photographers and nature lovers. The area is also an important habitat for flamingos, which you can often spot in large groups among the salt pans - a magical sight against the backdrop of the setting sun.
Just so you know
- Stairs – you reach the penthouse via stairs to the third floor, which provides extra privacy and spectacular views
- Unpaved access road – the final stretch to the complex goes over an unpaved road, providing the typical Bonaire massage along the way
- No BBQ – due to the location in the apartment complex there's no barbecue facility, but there are beautiful public BBQ spots like Donkey Beach and Seru Largu

The neighborhood
South of downtown and towards the salt pans: one of Bonaire's most renowned residential and vacation zones, traditionally linked to Harry Belafonte. Belnem grew into a collective name for luxury subdivisions like La Palma, Sabal Palm, Lima, Punt Vierkant and Playa Esmeralda. You're close to beloved south coast beaches (like Bachelor's Beach) and iconic dive spots here; ideal for sunsets and relaxed beach life. Quiet residential area, with quick routes to airport and downtown.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of the Belnem Breeze Sunset Penthouse in Belnem. With your own car, all corners of the island are accessible at your own pace, from secluded snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone to rent a car, as this enables you to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There is no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked for example.

A very nice condo
This is a very nice condo. Awesome breeze from from door to back. Made for a very comfortable sit on the deck. Good view of ocean from deck. You will want to bring all your own soaps and shampoo as those were not provided as expected for a short term rental. Incredible stay!
The apartment surpassed our expectations in every way. Sunwise Bonaire was welcoming, responsive to our delayed flight, and was helpful throughout. The apartment had everything to make our stay incredible. We like to eat breakfast and lunch at the apartment, and with easy access to groceries (next door) and all amenities, it was fabulous. We enjoyed eating on the big deck and closing out the day with a drink at sunset. Your provided ample towels- and extra large ones for the beach. There is a consistent breeze throughout the apartment and a/c units in both bedrooms. The pool is perfect and after a long day snorkeling and windsurfing the incredible free beaches, the outdoor shower was great to wash off the sand. I can’t say enough about the accommodations. The location is excellent, as everything is 10 minutes away. Highly recommend renting a four wheel drive truck since many roads are unpaved and bumpy. Comfortable beds!
We are a family of four who stayed five days in the apartment. We were well received and everything was as described and the view is amazing. The beds are comfortable and there is air conditioning in the bedrooms. The pool was absolutely perfect for our kids. The kitchen is well equipped and has what you need to cook.

Beautiful sunsets
😀The apartment is very large and spacious and really equipped with everything you need. The view from the terrace at sunset is beautiful. The proximity to the airport is ideal and you really hardly hear any airplanes, as there are not really many large planes landing each day. There is a small supermarket right next door, which has everything you need to satisfy your hunger/thirst. It is about a 10-minute drive to a large supermarket or the city center. A rental car for Bonaire is a general must. The communal pool was clean and well maintained and is perfect for cooling off after a full day at sea. The owner Andrea is just great. She is always available to answer any questions and responds very quickly. We felt very comfortable all round.

As a guest of the Belnem Breeze Sunset Penthouse, you have access to the entire accommodation, including both bedrooms, two bathrooms, the modern kitchen, the spacious living room and the private balcony with ocean views. Additionally, you can use the shared facilities such as the tropical garden, pool deck and the refreshing shared swimming pool. There is free parking available both on the premises and on the street. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanation about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals! The Sunwise hosts of the accommodation will make arrangements with you about your arrival.

Check-in is from 3PM, check-out by 10AM, early or late check-in/out is possible upon request depending on other guests.
