Seaside Apartment Ibis is a lovely garden view apartment on the ground floor of the upscale Bonaire Seaside Apartments building. It has 1 bedroom, a bathroom, a living room with open kitchen and a nice terrace, connected to the pool deck. Close to the pool is the gate towards the boulevard and the Caribbean Sea.

Great Location and Lovely Apartment

Significant signs of wear and tear
I was very impressed by the professional service provided by Cecile, whom was on time for the reception of the keys and gave a tour through the apartment. I was even more impressed by Simon. One hour after arriving, the airco in the bed room crashed. I called Sunwise and reached Simon. He tried via whatsapp camera to reset the unit but it didn't work. Although it was 26 december , he managed to come the next day with a airco technician and they managed to repair the unit. I was very happy because I understood that most service providers take vacation between Christmas and New Year so attaboy for Sunwise. The apartment situated is on a rather busy road to the north side of the island so it can be noisy from traffic but it is very well situated. It takes 15 minutes to walk on the boulevard to Kralendijk. You can swim and snorkel just in front of the apartment. Their is a small pool but big enough for a swim or a cool down. This much for the positive. The downside is that the apartment has significant signs of wear and tear. The furniture (except for the matrass on the bed) is very very old. Seats and sofa show discoloration, tables have stains, some kitchen cabinets are broken, kitchen extractor hood was broken and didn't function. Electricity was installed in a clumsy ways, etc etc. See pictures. Best Caribbean trip ever
This condo is perfectly located. 10 min walk to town to bars and restaurants.
The condo was very comfortable and lots of kitchen ware to cook anything you want. No oven though but did not need one. The microwave worked well.
They advertised no parking but there are two open spots in front of the apartments that I was able to park at most nights. There is also street parking across the road and in front on the road. It was perfectly safe to leave the rental car following local guidelines of leave nothing in the car, unlocked and windows down.
The check in check out procedure was super easy. They met me to give me the key and I left the key in the condo upon leaving.

Exceptional Seaside Ibis
Good location north of the center of Kralendijk, about a 15 minute walk into the center along the water.

The location makes this apartment worthwhile
The location makes this apartment worthwhile. Loved the access to the boardwalk and the ocean along with the pool. Apartment is clean and simply laid out, adequate hot water, good AC both in bedroom and living room/kitchen. Parking was available either in the front of the block or next to the ocean.
