This modern apartment is located on the third floor of the Seaside Apartments complex in bustling downtown Kralendijk. The 60 square meter apartment offers beautiful sea views and features an elevator for added convenience. You’re just 50 meters from Dive Friends Yellow Submarine dive center, 850 meters from It Rains Fishes restaurant, 1 kilometer from Isidel Beach Park, and 1.1 kilometers from Top Supermarket. The shared swimming pool with regular pool provides refreshing moments between your island adventures.

A short boat ride from Kralendijk lies Klein Bonaire, a pristine islet that has been officially part of the Bonaire National Marine Park since 2001. This protected nature reserve hosts some of the most beautiful untouched beaches in the Dutch Antilles and is known for its crystal-clear waters and excellent snorkeling opportunities. Water taxis depart regularly from the boulevard - literally around the corner from your apartment - and take you in about 15 minutes to this paradisiacal island where you can enjoy pristine nature, white sandy beaches, and spectacular underwater worlds full of colorful corals and tropical fish.

- City sounds – On some evenings you can hear the cheerful Caribbean tunes from Kralendijk in the background
- No dryer – There's no dryer available, but thanks to sun and wind your laundry is bone dry within hours on Bonaire
- No BBQ – Barbecuing isn't possible here, but there are public BBQ spots like Donkey Beach or Seru Largu

The neighborhood
Downtown Kralendijk with the boulevard, piers, sailing and motor boats at the mooring buoys, and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling the boulevard in the evenings. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base due to quick access to west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience, and the shortest travel times to amenities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.
Getting around
Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Seaside Apartment Flamingo 305. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Seaside apartment FLAMINGO
Lovely stay in this apartment at the end of the boulevard of Kralendijk. Close to restaurants and terraces. Just right for 2 people, with a large balcony. More than enough clean towels and bed linen. Beautiful and Functional

Fantastic stay on Bonaire
What have we enjoyed in apartment Flamingo on the boulevard. It is a complete apartment, cozy furnished and a nice balcony with lovely views of the sea and Klein Bonaire. We felt very welcome on arrival with some first drinks in the fridge. During our stay the service from Sunwise was also very good. On the last day they arranged for us to shower and change for the evening flight. All in all, a very good experience.

Stay in September 2024
Good stay, but a bit expensive; good contact with the helpful host and hostess Score 7.0. 7.0 the location and contact with the companions (hosts) were good.
What can be improved:
1) the use of the dryer in the basement was very unclear and the dryer could not be turned on and did not work; after consulting with the host it apparently could not be fixed.
2) the drain of the sink in the bathroom ran badly. After use of the pump by us and also the host it was solved for a while but was needed to repeat many times shortly after.
3) the mattress in the bedroom is old and in need of replacement. The mattress topper is good and is comfortable.

As a guest of Seaside Apartment Flamingo 305, you have access to the complete apartment, including the bedroom, bathroom, open kitchen, living room, and balcony with sea view. Additionally, you can use the shared swimming pool and pool deck. There's free parking available both on the premises and on the street, and the building has an elevator for added convenience. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanations about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals personally!
