General description
Kas Jasabon is a 100 m² waterfront villa, part of the Water Villas Bonaire complex, situated on the ground floor in the heart of Kralendijk. The villa looks out directly over the Laguna Marina, offering a unique waterside perspective right in Bonaire’s capital. Van den Tweel supermarket is 2.1 kilometers away, Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are 1.2 kilometers away, Sebastian’s Restaurant is 1.4 kilometers away, and dive center Dive Friends Port Bonaire is 1.1 kilometers away. Free on-site parking is available at the villa. The private pool is exclusively for guests of the villa and is a standard pool.
Layout of the apartment
The villa features two bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable king-size bed, and one bathroom. The open-plan kitchen flows directly into the living area and is very well equipped: you'll find a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and kettle. Outside, a private garden with a covered veranda awaits – the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or a relaxed evening after a day of diving or beachcombing.

Make sure to set aside a day for a visit to Gotomeer, the largest saltwater lagoon on Bonaire. This remarkable lake lies within Washington Slagbaai National Park and is one of the island's most extraordinary natural highlights. Gotomeer is a well-known habitat for large flocks of Caribbean flamingos, which gather here to forage in the shallow, pinkish waters. The sight of dozens – sometimes hundreds – of flamingos against the rugged coastal backdrop is truly unforgettable. Head out early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when the light is at its best and the birds are most active.

- No A/C in the living area – The bedrooms are kept comfortably cool by air conditioning; in the living room, ceiling fans and the option to open doors and windows provide a pleasant breeze.
- No dining table indoors – There's no separate dining table inside, but the covered outdoor veranda is fully set up for an enjoyable al fresco dinner – with views over the Laguna Marina to top it off.
- City sounds in the area – Kas Jasabon sits right in the center of Kralendijk, which means you may catch the lively sounds of island life in the background on some evenings – a Caribbean atmosphere that's really quite fitting for Bonaire.

The neighborhood
Kralendijk's waterfront boulevard, docks, sailboats and motorboats on their moorings, and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Perfect for those who want everything within walking distance and enjoy an evening stroll along the boulevard. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base thanks to its quick access to the west coast dive sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect vibrancy, convenience, and the shortest travel times to all the amenities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.
Getting around
Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Jasabon. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Great stay all around
Our family of 4 had (2 adults and kids) had a pleasure of visiting Bonaire and we are very happy we stayed at this villa. Communication was clear and hosts were friendly throughout the process. Villa is spacious with 2 bedrooms and large open space living room; it felt new or recently renovated and it is conveniently located. Villa is inside gated community. Kids and us loved the pool. Covered outdoor seating area has great views of laguna and palm trees, comfortable furniture, it is well ventilated and pleasant to be in even on hot days. Stay in the water villa Kas Jasabon
Had a very pleasant stay in the water villa. A grandiose porch with a private pool and great views. There was plenty of privacy with a wonderful ambiance. Lovely house!
We just returned from a great stay in Bonaire. The house had a lovely private pool with beautiful views. Especially the outdoor area was great to spend evenings, both a lounge set and a dining table with chairs. Located near the airport but not at all bothered by it. Fresh, cozy, tropical stay
Kas Jasabon was a perfect base for our holiday. The place is well maintained. Fairly new and fresh. Both bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Big closets and full blackout curtains. AC quiet but strong. Loads of towels provided. Separate bathroom and separate toilet. There was just two of us. So worked perfectly. Kitchen is well equipped. Big fridge with freezer. Toaster, blender and nespresso machine. No microwave, but oven. Loads of wineglasses, maybe adding a couple more longdrink glasses would be helpful. We bought a few coasters and left them, so no more wet spots on the the tables. Outside is great. Big dining table. Nice comfy lounge seat. Pool is small but does the trick. We would have made the pool stairs smaller, but hey.. just a personal opinion. The sundeck in the pool and the view is amazing. Sun in the mornings and early afternoon. Location is great. Close to Kralendijk, 1min from the airport by car. Airport noise only when bigger planes come. But thats just a couple times a day. At night no issues. Supermarkets are super close by. And Te Amo beach around the corner. Parking in front of the property is a big plus. And the gate closing at night gives a feel of security. Overall we were very happy with the property and for choosing Sunwise! The personal welcome, fast communication through whatsapp and handing in the keys felt like a five star service. Check-in to Kas Jasabon is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
