Ocean Breeze El Trupial is a cozy apartment located in the Ocean Breeze Resort on the Laguna Marina. This artificial lagoon between Kralendijk and the airport forms an oasis of tranquility, connected to the Caribbean Sea via natural channels. The 65 m² apartment offers beautiful lagoon views and is situated on the ground floor for optimal accessibility. Just 800 meters away you’ll find the popular Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach, while Van den Tweel supermarket is 2.2 kilometers away. Sebastian’s Restaurant is within 1.6 kilometers and Dive Friends Port Bonaire is only 650 meters away for all your diving adventures. Just a short drive south lies Atlantis Kitebeach, one of the most challenging and acclaimed kitesurfing spots in the Caribbean. The neighborhood
The artificial lagoon between Kralendijk and the airport, connected to the Caribbean Sea via channels. Around the lagoon are villas, small-scale resorts and hotels (including Ocean Breeze, Plaza Beach Resort and Water Villas Bonaire), often with boat slips at home. The water is sheltered and calm – perfect for kayaking, SUP and relaxed waterfront living – with direct sailing connection to the open sea and dive spots along the west coast.
Getting around
Ocean Breeze El Trupial in Laguna Marina is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings. With your own vehicle, you can explore every corner of the island at your own pace, from secluded snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone rent a car since it enables you to reach everywhere on the island. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for natural areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making regular cars unsuitable. There's no public transportation and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when cruise ships dock.

Spacious waterfront apartment
My visit to Bonaire was for business and lasted 3 weeks. The apartment met all my requirements namely on the first floor, at least two air conditioners, a washing machine, a kitchen and parking in front of the door. The apartment is right on the water and the view is magnificent. I really enjoyed my stay in El Trupial and it was a pity that after three weeks I had to leave this perfect vacation location. The airport is a stone's throw away but there is little or no nuisance from the airport.

Wonderful time in Bonaire due to the great service provided by Sunwise
I had a wonderful time in Bonaire. One big reason for this was the great service provided by Sunwise.
If there is a problem it’s resolved very quickly. Simon is their point man and he is quick in getting the job done. Furthermore he is a very nice person to work with. Ymka checked me and out of my rental and she was very helpful, affordable and nice. All of the employees that I have encountered over the years have been nice and professional I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I have already booked my stay with Sunwise and can’t wait to return. Have a great stay in beautiful Bonaire!

We had a wonderful time there!
Nice apartment in a beautiful waterfront location with a cozy restaurant, De Dock, just around the corner. Lots of privacy and a peaceful, safe environment. The apartment is a bit outdated in terms of furniture. It is conveniently located in the center of the island, only 1 minute from the airport, but you don't hear any noise. As a guest of Ocean Breeze El Trupial, you have access to the entire apartment, including the bedroom, bathroom, open kitchen, living room, and terrace with lagoon views. The resort's communal pool is also available for relaxation. Parking is available both free on the property and on the street. To warmly welcome our guests and provide information about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals! The Sunwise hosts for the accommodation will make arrangements with you regarding your arrival.
Interaction with guests
The Sunwise team goes the extra mile to make your stay at Ocean Breeze El Trupial as enjoyable as possible. During your stay we are here to help with any questions. You can reach us most easily through the Guest App (the link is in your confirmation e-mail), by e-mail or WhatsApp of the Sunwise guest team for Ocean Breeze El Trupial, or through the messaging platform where you made your booking. We usually respond quickly, especially during the day, and will make sure your stay on Bonaire is unforgettable.
Other things to note
Check-in is from 3PM, check-out by 10AM. Earlier or later check-in and check-out is possible upon request, depending on other guests. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations.
