We felt right at home!

We had a wonderful stay! Upon entering we felt right at home!
Opposite the house they are building but you really have no (over) bother. Just cozy with some music in the background!
Spaces were as described and towels were plentiful and even bath towels!
Communication before and during were excellent! There was a small problem with the air conditioners and this was solved immediately!
Because the cottage was not booked consecutively we were allowed to use a late check out! Very nice!

Perfect base to explore the island

The house immediately gives off Caribbean vibes. The interior is neat and clean. There are plenty of towels/bedding and kitchen equipment. Very friendly reception who had already prepared ice-tea and a few fresh pints in the fridge for us. There is provision for 2 kayaks and a large barbecue. The little pool is maintained by the poolboy. No negative comments at all. Also very kind that on the last day we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted because no new tenants were coming (and we had a late flight). Very satisfied also with the location: perfect base to explore the island with your scooter (a "around South", "around North"), the Te Amo beach and a few minutes drive to the supermarkets and the center of Kralendijk. The house was lovely and spacious and terrace was also lovely. However some boards of the decking were loose and broken! And we also felt that there could have been some more and better kitchen cutlery and crockery/pans! Read more

An excellent hostess

Excellent location about 2 minutes from the airport. Approximately 3-5 minutes central to everything local including the main city. Elyse was an excellent hostess. She was so kind, friendly and helpful from the beginning before we even arrived. The place was beautiful. It felt just like being home. Bonaire is now one of our favorite islands thus far. Read more

Beautiful vacation in Bonaire in a beautiful house

It was a warm welcome to Bonaire, both by the local people at the airport and on the island and the contact via email and on site. The house was as in the pictures except for one little thing. It was clean and there were even some cold beers waiting for us. Nice to have after a long flight. 2 minus points you look out on a white wall instead of the water, and there is construction every day (including Sunday). You must provide a clean bed and clean towels yourself. Fortunately there is a washing machine (no detergent). But all this did not spoil the vacation fun. We enjoyed ourselves and felt comfortable and safe in the house. We were also allowed to stay longer because of the late flight in the evening, this was super arranged and very relaxed leave. Good central location near airport

3-bedroom 3-bathroom home, was convenient to local diving and restaurants as well as airport. Nice interior and room decor and furnishings. We liked the set up very well. The contacts were prompt and helpful. However, a few items to be aware of. As many homes do not have air conditioning in great rooms, we left doors open for breeze as directed. This did create a bit of constant housekeeping for us. During windy times, so much dust would blow in, we were constantly sweeping up dust and sand from we believe across the small waterway which was a pre-construction. We did not really see that the view would be of boards, and cement. Leaving the doors open to stay somewhat cooler, let in so many bugs. I purchased and left behind many citronella candles and various mosquito repellants. So overall, very nice spot, just be prepared for the view from the deck which will improve when they finish building and to be prepared for the dust/mosquitos. Not having air conditioning in main rooms is common in the ABC islands I understand. Read more

Great time in Bonaire

The folks at Sunwise and Casa Pimientia made it very easy to stay in Bonaire. Someone met us at the house and gave us instructions on how to use the various appliances. When I had trouble finding the silverware, hint, it's in a small pull out drawer under the stove, they were easy to reach on Whatsapp. The house was great for 5 people and my son loved having the pool to swim in every day. The house is very close to everything. I would definitely stay there again. Read more
