Casa Breeze is a stylish apartment located in the Water Villas Bonaire complex in central Kralendijk. This modern 82 m² home is situated on the second floor and offers beautiful views over the lagoon. You’re staying just 900 meters from Dive Friends Port Bonaire, 1.1 kilometers from Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach, and 1.3 kilometers from Sebastian’s Restaurant. For daily groceries, Van den Tweel supermarket is reachable at 2 kilometers distance. The apartment features a regular shared pool that you share with other guests of the complex.

Layout of the apartment

The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms with air conditioning for a good night's sleep, and one complete bathroom. The open kitchen directly adjoins the living room and comes with built-in appliances including a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. From the living room you step right onto the balcony, where you can enjoy views over the lagoon and the lively bustle of Kralendijk.

Just a short boat ride from the marina lies pristine Klein Bonaire, a true snorkeling and diving paradise. This small island has been officially part of the Bonaire National Marine Park since 2001 and is known as a protected nature reserve where no development takes place. The underwater world around Klein Bonaire is breathtaking: crystal-clear water, intact coral reefs and rich fish diversity make this one of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean. Various operators provide daily boat trips from Kralendijk, often combined with snorkel equipment and a beach picnic. An absolute must-do during your stay!

• City sounds in the area – From your balcony you sometimes hear the cheerful sounds of bustling Kralendijk, like music from restaurants and cafés
• No BBQ – Barbecuing isn't possible at the apartment, but there are beautiful public BBQ spots like Donkey Beach and Seru Largu
• No dining table inside – There's no dining table indoors, but you can enjoy lovely outdoor dining on the balcony with lagoon views

The neighborhood

Downtown Kralendijk with its boulevard, piers, sailing and motor boats at the moorings and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling along the boulevard in the evenings. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base due to quick access to the west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience and the shortest travel times to amenities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.

Getting around

A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Casa Breeze in Kralendijk. With your own car, all corners of the island are reachable at your own pace, from secluded snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone to rent a car, as it enables you to reach everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There's no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked for example.

Guest access

As a guest of Casa Breeze you have access to the complete apartment, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, the open kitchen, living room and the balcony with lagoon views. Additionally, you can use the shared pool in the Water Villas Bonaire complex and there's free street parking directly in front. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanations about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals personally! The Sunwise hosts of the accommodation will make arrangements with you regarding your arrival.

Other things to note

Check-in is from 3PM, check-out by 10AM. Early or late check-in/out is possible upon request, depending on other guests. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations. We ask you to be considerate of other guests and keep noise levels down in the evenings. Enjoy your stay at Casa Breeze!
