Bonaire Beach Apartments is ideal for divers! Its location directly on the sea offers a wonderful starting point for a nice dive. In the nearby area there are several dive shops where guests can find dive courses, dive tanks, rinse tanks and storage facilities for dive gear.

Within a short walk from Bonaire Beach Apartments 14 you’ll find Chachacha Beach, a small city beach right on the Kralendijk boulevard. This spot is known as an easy entry into the clear water on the island’s west coast, perfect for a quick swim or some relaxed snorkeling along the quay. From here you overlook the bay with moored sail and motor boats and often see the water taxis heading out to Klein Bonaire, giving the area a lively, very typical Bonaire atmosphere.

• Shared garden and outdoor areas – The garden and pool deck are shared with other guests, which creates a friendly, relaxed atmosphere around the building.
• No dryer – There is no tumble dryer, but on Bonaire your laundry usually dries very quickly outside thanks to the sun and breeze.
• No BBQ – Barbecuing is not possible here, but along the boulevard and in Kralendijk you’ll find plenty of restaurants for great dinners out.
• No pets, no smoking - But to smoke, our guests can take a lovely walk along the boulevard!

The neighborhood

Kralendijk center with the boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats on the moorings and colorful facades: here you are right between restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure points of various boat trips, including sunset tours and the water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you want everything within walking distance and love strolling along the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a great base thanks to quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience and the shortest travel times to facilities in Bonaire’s main town, Kralendijk.

Getting around

A rental car is basically a must on Bonaire if you want to explore the whole island, even when staying at Bonaire Beach Apartments 14 in Kralendijk. With your own car you can reach remote snorkeling spots, rugged stretches of coastline and local eateries outside the center at your own pace. That way you really make the most of your time on Bonaire. Most roads are paved, but for nature areas such as Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is recommended because the roads are unpaved and sometimes rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise ship days.
