This modern apartment is located on the fourth floor of the Bonaire Beach Apartments complex in the heart of Kralendijk. From your balcony you’ll enjoy spectacular sea views over the Caribbean Sea and Klein Bonaire. The 1,290 square foot apartment is just 260 feet from Chachacha Beach, 390 feet from Capriccio restaurant, and 260 feet from Dive Friends Chachacha dive center. The nearest supermarket Van den Tweel is 0.7 miles away. The complex features a communal pool with pool deck and shared garden.
Bonaire Beach Apartments is ideal for divers! Its location directly on the sea offers a wonderful starting point for a nice dive. In the nearby area there are several dive shops where guests can find dive courses, dive tanks, rinse tanks and storage facilities for dive gear.
Layout of the apartment
The apartment has two spacious bedrooms, both equipped with air conditioning for comfortable nights, and two bathrooms. The open kitchen connects directly to the living room and is fully equipped with built-in appliances, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, coffee maker, and kettle. About 15 minutes south you'll find Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach, one of Bonaire's most beautiful snorkeling spots with shallow coral gardens and dozens of reef fish species. Te Amo Beach is known as a true snorkeling paradise where you can spot colorful parrotfish, yellow tangs, and even sea turtles just meters from shore. The clear, calm water and rich underwater world make this an ideal spot for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. - No dryer – there's no dryer available, but thanks to sun and wind your laundry will be bone dry within hours on Bonaire
- No BBQ – barbecuing isn't possible at the apartment, but there are public BBQ spots like at Donkey Beach
- City sounds – on some evenings you'll hear the cheerful Caribbean sounds from Kralendijk in the background

Downtown Kralendijk with the boulevard, piers, sailing and motor boats at the mooring buoys and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and love strolling the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base due to quick access to west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience, and the shortest travel times to amenities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Bonaire Beach Apartments 16 in Kralendijk. With your own car you can reach all corners of this beautiful island at your own pace, from secluded snorkeling spots to local restaurants in Rincon. We recommend everyone rent a car, as you'll then be able to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for natural areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There's no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked.

Good Location and Place
The two bedroom condo was very well located and had good views. The balcony was great - we spent most of our time out there. The applicances - dishwasher, washing machine, airconditioning, etc. - worked well. Parking was available on site. A couple of not so good things: we had to pry up part of the shower drain in one bathroom to keep the bathroom floor from flooding; the bathrooms have two measly hooks and no towel racks; the cabinet in one bedroom was falling apart; and there was no microwave. Our holiday on Bonaire was fantastic, thanks in large part to the service and support from the Sunwise team! Everything was perfectly arranged, and whenever we had questions, we received quick and helpful responses by both email and app. When we return to Bonaire, we will definitely book our accommodation through Sunwise again.

Plus en minpunten
Appartement is mooi centraal gelegen, dichtbij het centrum met alle restaurants. Het nadeel is behoorlijk veel geluidsoverlast door het vele vrachtverkeer wat gebruikt wordt voor het laden en lossen van de vrachtboten, maar ook door het lokale verkeer. Het mooie uitzicht op zee is vaak geblokkeerd door cruiseboten en de eerder genoemde vrachtschepen. Omdat het een nieuw appartement betreft is dit nog maar karig ingericht. Als voorbeeld noem ik de keuken inrichting: van alles is 6-voudig uitgevoerd, bij 4 personen is dat te krap, 6 bordjes, messen en glazen betekend veel maal de afwasser laten draaien. De op de website tot 2x toe genoemde broodrooster ontbreekt. Wij hadden 2,5 week geboekt, tussentijd worden de lakens en badgoed niet vernieuwd. Geacht werd om deze zelf te wassen. Helaas ontbreekt dan weer een strijkplank met strijkijzer. Conclusie: een mooi appartement met nog al wat minpuntjes. Zouden wij het opnieuw boeken? Additionally, you can use the communal pool, pool deck, and shared garden. The complex has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible. Free parking is available both on the premises and on the street. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanations about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals personally!
