- No BBQ - for safety reasons, barbecuing is not allowed, but fortunately there are beautiful public BBQ spots like Donkey Beach
- No dryer - there's no dryer available, but thanks to the Caribbean sun and wind, your laundry is bone dry within hours
- City sounds - occasionally you'll hear the cheerful Caribbean sounds from downtown as a natural soundtrack to your stay

The neighborhood
Downtown Kralendijk with the boulevard, piers, sailing and motorboats at the mooring buoys, and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and love to stroll along the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is an excellent base due to quick access to the west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience, and the shortest travel times to all amenities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.
Getting around
A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Bonaire Beach Apartments 15 in Kralendijk. With your own car, all corners of the island are reachable at your own pace, from remote snorkeling spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone rent a car, as this enables you to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There is no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked, for example.

Great location
Bonaire Beach Apt. 15 is in a great location to see the ocean and the cruise ships dock and being a very easy walk to downtown. It is also a short direct drive to all the large grocery stores, has a great lanai and right next to a swimming beach. A beautiful view of the sea

Additionally, you can use the shared pool, pool deck, and communal garden. Parking is available free of charge both on the property and on the street.
