Blue Lagoon is a beautiful water villa located in the exclusive Water Villas Bonaire complex, directly on the picturesque Laguna Marina in the heart of Kralendijk. This 160 m² villa on the ground floor offers breathtaking views over the lagoon and combines modern luxury with a prime location. Van den Tweel supermarket is 2 kilometers away, while the popular beaches Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are just 1.1 kilometers away. Sebastian’s Restaurant is located 1.3 kilometers away and dive center Dive Friends Port Bonaire is only 950 meters away. The private pool forms the beating heart of this unique accommodation.

Layout of the apartment

The villa features two comfortable bedrooms, both equipped with air conditioning for optimal sleeping comfort, and one modern bathroom. The open kitchen directly adjoins the spacious living room and is equipped with a new kitchen unit and high-quality built-in appliances, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. The covered veranda and private garden create a tropical outdoor space, while the pool deck invites you to relax with views over the lagoon.

Just 1.1 kilometers from Blue Lagoon lie Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach, two of Bonaire's most beautiful snorkeling spots. Te Amo Beach is known as a true snorkeling paradise with shallow coral gardens full of colorful reef fish – perfect for beginners and experienced snorkelers alike. The crystal-clear water and sheltered location make this beach ideal for a relaxing day by the sea. Donkey Beach offers fantastic snorkeling plus excellent BBQ facilities, so feel free to bring your lunch. Both beaches are easily accessible by car or bike and offer the perfect combination of relaxation and underwater adventure.

Just so you know

• Street parking – you park for free directly in front of the villa, but there's no fenced private parking area
• No dryer – there's no dryer available, but thanks to the Caribbean sun and wind your laundry dries within hours
• City sounds – on some evenings you can hear the cheerful Caribbean tunes from Kralendijk in the background

The neighborhood

Downtown Kralendijk with the boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats at the mooring buoys, and colorful facades: here you're right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Ideal for those who want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling along the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, this is an excellent base due to quick access to west coast spots; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience, and the shortest travel times to amenities in Bonaire's capital: Kralendijk.

Getting around

A rental car is a must on Bonaire to explore the island beyond the immediate surroundings of Blue Lagoon in Kralendijk. With your own car, all corners of the island are accessible at your own pace, from remote snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend everyone to rent a car, as this enables you to get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for natural areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup truck or SUV is recommended. The roads in the park are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car unsuitable. There is no public transportation and the number of taxis is limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is docked, for example.

Guest access

As a guest of Blue Lagoon, you have access to the complete villa, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, the spacious living room with open kitchen, the covered veranda, the private garden, and of course the lovely private pool. The direct location on Laguna Marina gives you unique views and water access. There's free street parking directly in front of the villa. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanations about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals! The Sunwise hosts of the accommodation will make arrangements with you regarding your arrival.

We usually respond quickly, especially during the day, and will make sure your stay on Bonaire is unforgettable.

Other things to note

Check-in is from 3PM, check-out by 10AM. Early or late check-in and check-out is possible upon request, depending on other guests. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations. We ask you to keep noise down in the evening out of respect for neighbors. Enjoy your stay at Blue Lagoon!
