There are many trails to be found on Bonaire where you can explore the beautiful island. Numerous walking, cycling, and driving routes have been established using colored stones. These routes take you through the stunning nature of Bonaire. Each trail has been given a name and is unique in its own way.

One of the routes you can hike is the Chanti-wawa trail. The Chanti-wawa trail is a hiking path that takes you to the top of Chanti Wawa Hill. The difficulty level of this hike is moderate, but please note that there is a short but steep climb. The maximum elevation is 128 meters, and the hike takes approximately 30 minutes. Along this trail, you will encounter the beautiful Palu di Sia trees, and from the top, you’ll have a view of Tras di Montaña and the east coast.

“Bon dia tur hende i bon bini na dushi Boneiru!
My name is Casper Douma and I am a photographer. Since 2014 I’ve been living on this beautiful island, surrounded by a fringing reef. At first glance, you may see mostly cacti and drought, but Bonaire is a little gem if you get to know it better. I would like to take you on one of my photography tours to show you all the special places of Bonaire. In small groups of maximum 4 people I give you a unique look at the beauty of Bonaire. Became curious? Take a look at my website! I wish you a lot of fun on beautiful Bonaire.”
