Waterdream Apartment Watervillas is a 160 m² apartment located on the ground floor of the Water Villas Bonaire complex, in the Kralendijk neighborhood, right on the Laguna Marina. From the apartment you look out directly over the lagoon – a waterfront view that has its own quiet magic in the early morning and at dusk. Supermarket Van den Tweel is 2.1 kilometers away, Sebastian’s Restaurant is 1.4 kilometers away, dive center Dive Friends Port Bonaire is 1.1 kilometers away, and Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are 1.2 kilometers away. The apartment features a private pool (standard), free on-site parking, and a private entrance.

Layout of the apartment

The apartment has two spacious bedrooms – both fitted with a comfortable king-size bed – and one bathroom. The open kitchen flows directly into the living room, giving the space an open and airy feel. Outside, you'll find a private garden and a covered veranda: perfect spots for relaxing, dining, or simply soaking in the lagoon views. One excursion you absolutely shouldn't miss: the Cadushy Distillery in the charming village of Rincon. This is Bonaire's only distillery, producing liqueur from the kadushi cactus – the tall columnar cactus you'll see growing all across the island. In addition to the signature cadushy liqueur, the distillery crafts other locally inspired spirits. You can stop in for a tasting and take a bottle home straight from the source. Rincon itself is the oldest settlement in the Dutch Caribbean, and a visit pairs perfectly with a scenic drive through Bonaire's interior.

• Wildlife visits – Nature is never far away on Bonaire: the occasional lizard, bird, or curious goat may wander into the garden. Most guests find it a genuinely charming part of the island experience.
• City sounds – Kralendijk is a lively little town, and you may hear the sounds of the boulevard in the evenings – music, laughter, and the chirping of tropical birds drifting in on the breeze. It's all part of the Caribbean atmosphere.
• No dryer – There's no clothes dryer, but on Bonaire the combination of sunshine and trade winds means laundry dries outside in no time at all.

The neighborhood

Kralendijk's waterfront boulevard, mooring buoys lined with sailboats and motorboats, colorful colonial facades, restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the departure point for boat trips including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire – this is the beating heart of Bonaire's capital. Everything is within walking distance, and an evening stroll along the boulevard is almost mandatory. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area offers fast access to the best west coast spots; for food lovers and shoppers, there's no better base on the island. Expect energy, convenience, and the shortest travel times to every amenity Kralendijk has to offer.

Getting around

Although Waterdream Apartment Watervillas is centrally located in Kralendijk with plenty within walking distance, renting a car is highly recommended to truly explore everything Bonaire has to offer. With your own wheels you can discover every corner of the island at your own pace – from secluded snorkel spots along the west coast to local restaurants in Rincon. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for a visit to Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is strongly advised, as the unpaved park roads can be quite rugged. There is no public transportation on the island, and taxis are limited – especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Guest access

As a guest of Waterdream Apartment Watervillas, you have full and exclusive access to the entire property: both bedrooms, the bathroom, the open-plan living room and kitchen, and the private garden with covered veranda and private pool. The apartment has its own private entrance, so you can come and go completely undisturbed. Free parking is available on-site, right at the property.
