These two beaches are located along the west coast near the airport and are known for their clear waters and good snorkeling along the coral-rich shoreline. Te Amo Beach offers a pleasant sandy stretch to relax, while Donkey Beach is usually a bit quieter. Bring your snorkel gear, be mindful of the strong sun, and enjoy watching boats pass by after your swim or snorkel session.

• No pool – There is no pool on-site, but Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are just 1 kilometer away for a refreshing dip in the Caribbean Sea.
• No A/C in the living room – The living room doesn’t have air conditioning, but on the veranda and with the doors open you can enjoy the trade winds for natural cooling.
• Stairs – The apartment is on the second floor and reached via stairs, which may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The neighborhood

Kralendijk’s center comes with a lively boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats moored on buoys, and colorful facades. Here you are right between restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure points for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a convenient base with quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, it’s the place to be. Expect bustle, convenience and the shortest travel times to the island’s main amenities in Kralendijk.

Getting around

Laguna Serena Apartment in Kralendijk is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer than just the immediate surroundings. With your own car you can reach all corners of the island at your own pace, from remote snorkeling spots to local restaurants. We recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park’s roads are unpaved and sometimes rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise ship days.

As a guest of Laguna Serena Apartment you have access to the entire apartment, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, the living room, the fully equipped open kitchen and the covered veranda with terrace on the lagoon side. The washing machine and all other amenities listed in the description are for your private use.
