The Blenny fish is an eccentric fish that lives in Bonaire’s underwater world. The habitat offers an excess of hiding places and food sources, making the fish abundant.

Blenny is a fish with an elongated body, large eyes and characteristic head often with tentacles and horns. The fish are small to medium in size and generally quiet, but also quite curious. Several species of the Blenny fish can be found in Bonaire and they thrive in the rocky coastal areas and coral reefs. Bonaire’s underwater habitat offers an excess of hiding places and food sources, so the fish are present in large numbers. Blenny fish often have vibrant colors ranging from brown to green to yellow, making them beautiful to see while diving or snorkeling. They add another layer of beauty and interest to Bonaire’s already impressive biodiversity.

“Bon dia tur hende i bon bini na dushi Boneiru!”
My name is Casper Douma and I am a photographer. Since 2014 I have lived on this beautiful island surrounded by a fringing reef. At first glance you might see mostly cacti and dryness, but Bonaire is a little jewel when you get to know it better. I would love to take you on one of my photography tours to show you all the special places of Bonaire. In small groups of up to 4 people, I’ll give you a unique glimpse of Bonaire’s beauty. Curious? If so, check out my website! I wish you lots of fun on beautiful Bonaire.”
