Delta Airlines will return to Bonaire from June!
Now that the corona virus spread globally appears to be leveling and nearly all countries are easing their pandemic measures, Delta Airlines announces plans to reopen flight schedules to the Caribbean and Bonaire again! That is – of course – if Bonaire indeed will re-open its airspace again by mid-June…
Back to the Caribbean!
Delta Airlines announced in a press release today, that it will reopen various flight schedules, including those to and from the Caribbean, as the corona virus spread globally appears to be leveling and nearly all countries are easing their pandemic measures. Delta’s summer schedule is, as always, determined by the demand of the travelers, the CDC guidelines and travel rules of the various governments. Although the schedule for June has narrowed considerably compared to previous years, Delta guests can see several major routes return, both domestic and international, previously suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Measures against contamination
Travelers flying with Delta, can rest assured that their flying experience will be safe, with respect to the regulations regarding the new corona virus. For example, travelers and employees are obliged to wear face cover during the entire trip. Furthermore, Delta will cover 50 to 60 percent of the seats, to ensure the prescribed distance between people on all aircraft. The company has also issued measures to ensure the new standard of cleaning and to streamline the services on board, in order to reduce contact moments on board.
Travelers with Delta can also count on extra flexibility if they unexpectedly have to change their travel plans.
