Casa Alegria with a wonderfully cooling private pool

Casa Alegria is a beautiful eight-person villa, built in 2022, featuring a large private pool of 8 x 4 meters, located in the quiet and luxurious residential area Sabalpalm. The villa is close to the small but popular sandy beach Bachelor’s Beach and on the road to Sorobon, with its beautiful white beaches and the possibility for windsurfing. Due to the spacious layout, the large pool, and the soothing decor, our guests immediately feel at home here.

At Sunwise Bonaire we love transparency. The price you see is therefore the total price, including all fees and discounts.

General description of the villa

Due to its layout and the separate apartment, the villa is very suitable for multiple families or groups of friends, while maintaining privacy. The four bedrooms, including those in the apartment, all have air conditioning and ample closet space. Three bedrooms have double box springs and one bedroom has two single box springs. Each bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom with rain shower, sink, and toilet. In addition, each bedroom has an adjoining private terrace with a cozy sitting area, where our guests can retreat in complete tranquility.

The layout of the villa

Casa Alegria is designed and laid out in such a way that every guest can enjoy the house optimally. The living room is equipped with a large sofa and television where guests can use their own Netflix account if desired. The open kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas stove and a large American fridge with an ice cube machine. The kitchen is large enough for everyone and therefore excellent for the chefs among our guests.

The owners and designers of Casa Alegria have successfully tried to make as little distinction as possible between outside and inside. The sliding doors in the living room and kitchen and the large covered terrace outside ensure that indoors and outdoors seamlessly merge. On the terrace, there is a beautiful large table with eight comfortable chairs, a barbecue, and a lounge sofa where you can wake up quietly in the shade or just doze off. In the months when there is less wind on Bonaire, fans above the dining table and lounge provide the necessary cooling.

For the sun worshippers, there are delightful sun loungers ready! For cooling down, there is the large pool, with a convenient seating ledge. A magnapool system, known for its favorable therapeutic effects on health and also much better for skin and hair than traditional chlorine baths, has been chosen. On the side of the house, there is a large sink where any diving, kite, or windsurfing equipment can be rinsed.

Due to amplifiers at multiple points, there is good Wi-Fi coverage everywhere in and around the house.

Separate apartment with great view

Next to the spacious main house, there is an apartment on the first floor. It has a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom with a double king-size box spring has an en-suite bathroom, just like all other bedrooms in the house. Both the living room and the bedroom have access to the terrace that offers a magnificent panoramic view of the wild nature and in the distance the salt pans and the azure blue sea along the southwest coast of Bonaire. Due to this apartment, a total of 8 people can stay in Casa Alegria, but this apartment is only available for reservations for 7 or 8 people or at equivalent rates.

Incredible Oasis

Our group of 7 adults came to Bonaire to get away from the stress of life and Casa Alegria was the perfect location for just this. The flow of the house provided the perfect balance between serene simplicity and private luxury. Every room had it's own bathroom which was great for our group. The kitchen was well stocked for all the cooking we wanted to do, and right down the road from a local ribs joint on a night we didn't. Being right down the road from the sandy beaches was so nice for a quick trip for a few hours, and then back to the pool in the evening. We all swore that the pool had healing properties, because we weren't sore from our workouts or hikes! The property is close to one of two CrossFit gyms on the island, which was nice for a few of us. Everet, the manager was incredibly helpful and responsive, and our check-in and our processes were so smooth. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get refreshed and restored. We look forward to returning with our family soon! Read more
